Please quit removing the {{unreferenced}} tag from The Mall at Johnson City. I marked the page as unreferenced since, frankly, it lacks sources entirely. While I trust that your chronology of the mall is correct, it would be appreciated if you could find some reliable sources to verify the information in the article. If you need any help, please leave a note on my talk page. Thank you. Ten Pound Hammer • (((Broken clamshells • Otter chirps))) 18:25, 27 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Johnson City again

[edit]

The reason that not all articles with {{unreferenced}} is because someone just hasn't added that tag yet. If you see an article without references, feel free to add that template if you want -- or better yet, add references if you know of any. I'll see if I can find any references for the Johnson City article for you. By the way, please feel free to add ~~~~ (four tildes) to talk page posts to sign them. I don't see the references anywhere. Do you mean the "glimcher website" and "official website" links? Ten Pound Hammer • (((Broken clamshells • Otter chirps))) 20:58, 28 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Warning sign This file may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Davisons1970.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read carefully the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content and then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 00:46, 3 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image (Image:Tv5 Waga.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Tv5 Waga.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 21:29, 10 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Notability of Bristol Mall

[edit]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Bristol Mall, by Sohelpme (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Bristol Mall seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Bristol Mall, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 01:17, 21 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed your message on User talk:Shell Kinney. Might I suggest you recreate the article in your user space first? By having it on a sandbox page of sorts in your userspace, it gives you all the time you need to properly source an article and do everything else required to ensure it won't be deleted by the speedy deletion criteria again. Of course, however you proceed is up to you, I'm only making a suggestion :) BigNate37(T) 19:31, 21 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please quit removing the {{refimprove}} tag from The Mall at Johnson City. The page does have four references, but if you notice, the majority of the article is still unreferenced. 20:40, 21 July 2007 (UTC)

College Mall

[edit]

A {{prod}} template has been added to the article College Mall, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you endorse deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please tag it with {{db-author}}. DGG (talk) 01:24, 30 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. The references you have added to this article help a lot. Good stuff! However, do you have a source for the statement that the mall was a major catalyst for the rapid growth on this side of Knoxville? That's the "fact" that I was most concerned about when I flagged that sentence with the {{fact}} tag. --orlady 23:46, 22 July 2007 (UTC) (originally mistakenly placed on User page. Regarding your edit[1] to Underground Atlanta (and others) to add a "Atlanta shopping centers" box; rather than adding static text to every article you wish to implement on, you should implement that box as a template. The Underground article already included two such navigation boxes you could use as references to create one for shopping centers. Click through to Template:Atlanta_landmarks and check out how it works. Making the box a template will enable much easier future maintenance allowing a single change to the template rather than edits to a dozen or more articles. AUTiger » talk 18:40, 9 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The first place to start is by creating an article such as Template:Atlanta shopping centers (you can click through that red link now to create it). Then you can go to the Atlanta landmarks template I linked above, edit it and see what is being done with markup there, and/or copy and paste the format to your new shopping center template. Then just put the article titles in that should included. AUTiger » talk 18:54, 9 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
And in each article to which you wish to add the navigation, instead of having to add all the text you simply add {{Template:Atlanta shopping centers}}. AUTiger » talk 18:57, 9 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I thought I was improving the article when I moved three photos out of the gallery and put them in the article. Apparently you disagreed because you reverted my changes -- can you please explain why? (For example, was there a display problem in your browser?) Not only are the dispersed images easier to see, but it seems to me that images interspersed in the article text add visual interest to an article -- and that is encouraged by Wikipedia. For example, check out the way images are used in some WP:FA articles, such as today's featured article Toraja, or the newly featured articles Chicago Board of Trade Building, Io (moon), Henry, Bishop of Uppsala, and Shaw and Crompton. --orlady 16:50, 12 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Johnson Bible College

[edit]

Thanks for explaining that the statement "Doing this for 4 years helps to mature you both as a person, but also as a Christian" is part of Ashley Johnson's original philosophy. I may have over-reacted by deleting the sentence when that addition showed up on my watchlist, but my first reaction was that this had several things wrong with it: it was either a brochure item or a personal essay, it was unsourced, and it was written in the second person. The article would benefit greatly if you could replace the upbeat unsourced descriptions of the school in sections like that "Living on campus" section with sourced descriptions of Ashley Johnson's views and how the school implements his vision. --Orlady 04:45, 23 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. Speedy deletion of Indianapolis TV

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Indianapolis TV requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Scapler (talk) 01:21, 16 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The file File:Colbiamall1964.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

orphaned image, no encyclopedic use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

Also:

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:03, 11 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
