I've created this page about Michael McDonald, an eminent Canadian philosopher and ethicist.
I am a former student of his. I don't think that puts me in a conflict of interest according to Wikipedia guidelines but I'm building the page here so that I can seek comment, in order to be careful.
McDonald clearly meets Wikipedia's Notability criteria: He holds a named professorship, in addition to having served on high-level commissions for Canada's federal government.
I would appreciate feedback, as well as any thoughts on whether / how to proceed given my probable conflict of interest.
