Wal-Mart criticism split
[edit]I'm attempting to establish an solid consensus on whether or not to split Wal-Mart and Criticism of into separate articles. See the vote at Talk:Wal-Mart. Feco 20:54, 9 August 2005 (UTC)

Launch Pads
[edit]I worked at the "Cape" (as we called) it for ten years. We always refered to launches as taking place at "the Cape." Unless we were trying to distinguish them from AF ones. Then we might say "Cape-side" meaning the AF, as opposed to "KSC." The public would be mystified at our saying that launches occured on Merritt Island, even though that might be true. The Brevard Public would tolerate saying that launches ocurred in Brevard. That claim would mystify most Americans who have never heard of Brevard or are familiar with another Brevard, like the one in North Carolina.
Since you live on Merritt Island, you may have a POV. Perhaps you could let others with no POV make this decision? Wikipedia currently has at least two articles which appear to contradict each other, one of which says that Merritt Island contains the launch site, the other of which says that the Cape is separated from Merritt Island. Since it would confuse the public and not really enlighten anyone, I prefer the latter view.
Florida coastal geography tends to be messy. e.g. There is no name for the land on which the Brevard beach towns/cities sit.

Hello! I am currently working on the "Swedish Project" and "Award and Prizes"'s article Nobel Prize. Since it is a top importance article and not even GA class I am trying to make it a GA article and perhaps further after that. However, I'm in a state now where I could use some help. I need a new pair (several pairs in fact) of eyes to look at the article and the talk page for improving prose, debation of different things and some sourcing. Do you got any possibility to help out? Japanese Music Charts
[edit]Hi, I'm just writing to you to request your help and assistance in referencing the Japanese Music Charts. Through out alot of popular english songs I have viewed I have noticed that they have been noted as performing well in Japan and have also read that the Japanese music market it very big. But in saying this every song I have seen has not got a Japanese chart position in the charts box. So if you are into music and willing to try and provide information on the Japanese Music Charts it would be greatly appreciated so then wikipedia users can start adding the Japanese chart positions into the chart boxes for popular songs. Hi. I was wondering if you would be interested in contributing articles to Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic)? It needs contributors to increase diversity of content from different countries and bring about large scale improvements. The idea at some point will be to host a National Contest related to your country of interest. Thanks. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 13:15, 21 September 2016 (UTC)
Europe 10,000 Challenge invite
[edit]Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 06:01, 6 November 2016 (UTC)
