Nice start on your article draft. One thing you still need to do is rework your lead section. The lead section should start with a succinct description of the topic. Something along the lines of "The Roving Pickets were..." and say enough in that opening sentence that your readers have a sense of the topic, even if they stop reading at that point.

See pages 7-9 of the Editing Wikipedia brochure for more information on layout.

In terms of formatting, references go after punctuation, not before. Section headers should use sentence capitalization, not title capitalization (only the first word and proper nouns should be capitalized) and the only thing that should be bolded is the article title. You should also figure out if "Roving Pickets" is a name (and thus a proper noun) or not, and make sure you capitalize it consistently. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 17:07, 26 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
