Adoption offer
[edit]Hey EscapedKnowledge, I'm Blurpeace and am interested in adopting you. I've been a volunteer for about one year and am a sysop (administrator) at two Wikimedia projects (the English Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons, a sister project devoted to managing photos and their copyright). I write content at Wikinews and I occasionally involve myself with Wikipedia's main space. I primarily use IRC to communicate with my adoptees and I am only interested in new editors who are considering a long-term commitment to Wikipedia (i.e., not leaving by next week). Now, that isn't to say that you are required to edit, but I'd like to see some activity if I'll be devoting my time. Anyway, I don't believe in rigid adoption plans and I teach using a "spur of the moment" Socratic style. If you're interested in continuing, just let me know. Sincerely, Blurpeace 01:55, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
- Note: In light of this offer, I'm removing the "adoptme" template and replacing it with the "adoptoffer" template. This will remove you from the backlog of users still seeking an adopter. Remember to change it back if you refuse this offer. SwarmTalk 02:42, 27 June 2010 (UTC)
