Gadget

Hi ErrantX, I'm a fairly novice editor, and not very confident with coding, etc. but I have been using a gadget you designed, MediaWiki:Gadget-defaultsummaries.js, and I have noticed that when you select a minor edit dropdown, e.g. Spelling/Grammar, it actually inputs the summary "Common Edit Summaries - Click to Use". This is I know only a minor bug; in fact, I did not notice it, it was pointed out to me by User:Headbomb, but I was wondering if you could take the time to look at the source code a find out where it's going wrong. Thanks, :-) --Gilderien Talk|Contribs 20:02, 28 September 2011 (UTC)

Eek that's pretty annoying. I'll take a look. --Errant (chat!) 11:26, 4 October 2011 (UTC)

emailuser.js

Hi ErrantX,

Is there any chance you could change User:ErrantX/emailuser.js to use protocol-relative URLs for the mail icon and link? That way it'll work when people are using the new native HTTPS support versions of the Wikimedia sites? I've put up a fixed version at User:Tom Morris/emailuser.js. Thanks. —Tom Morris (talk) 11:19, 4 October 2011 (UTC)

Sure :) fixed. I didn't know anyone else knew about that except me :D I never mentioned it! --Errant (chat!) 11:22, 4 October 2011 (UTC)
I may have stalked your JavaScripts. Any chance I could be a real nuisance and ask for the image link to be fixed too? Then I can CSD my own version. —Tom Morris (talk) 11:26, 4 October 2011 (UTC)
Voila :) --Errant (chat!) 11:27, 4 October 2011 (UTC)
Awesome, thanks. Tom Morris (talk) 11:39, 4 October 2011 (UTC)

Responding to RFCs

Remember that RFCs are part of Dispute Resolution and at times may take place in a heated environment. Please take a look at the relevant RFC page before responding and be sure that you are willing and able to enter that environment and contribute to making the discussion a calm and productive one focussed on the content issue at hand. See also Wikipedia:Requests for comment#Suggestions for responding.

Greetings! You have been randomly selected to receive an invitation to participate in the request for comment on Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Color. Should you wish to respond to the invitation, your contribution to this discussion will be very much appreciated! However, please note that your input will carry no greater weight than anyone else's: remember that an RFC aims to reach a reasoned consensus position, and is not a vote. In support of that, your contribution should focus on thoughtful evaluation of the issues and available evidence, and provide further relevant evidence if possible.

Zuggernaut issue

We may have a slight problem at Talk:Kunbi#What_is_going_on_in_this_page.3F and possibly with regard to the entire article, for which reason I request the oversight of mission control (I think that you are mission control in this instance?) I have queried something just now in the linked talk thread. - Sitush (talk) 13:48, 11 October 2011 (UTC)

The Commons notification bot image

Something that might make the commons notification bot more useful would be to include the actual image proposed for deletion on your posts, instead of a stock "image" pic. Thanks, D O N D E groovily Talk to me 23:01, 14 October 2011 (UTC)
