User talk:Erik Warmelink
User page
[edit]I did ask to be blocked as User:Erik Warmelink while User:ErikWarmelink (no space) is blocked. However, I did not ask for http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:Erik_Warmelink&oldid=276329557 to be removed overwritten. Erik Warmelink (talk) 14:23, 27 April 2009 (UTC)
A very nice way to remind me that User:Erik Warmelink wasn't removed but overwritten: User:ErikWarmelink and User talk:ErikWarmelink were deleted. Erik Warmelink (talk) 00:32, 7 May 2009 (UTC)
Damnatio memoriae seems to be the official policy, the admin who removed my userpage didn't remove it because my userpage was so "bad", but because my userpage was "on a list". (G6: Housekeeping and routine (non-controversial) cleanup). Erik Warmelink (talk) 22:30, 7 May 2009 (UTC)
I may not edit user talk:129.125.102.126, but I do edit from that IP address. Erik Warmelink (talk) 18:22, 2 June 2009 (UTC)
I am somewhat unhappy with these two edits, if the author hadn't accused me of sockpuppetry and wouldn't have incited user:wikifan12345 to tell me that goyim who oppose ethnic cleansing, may rot in camps, I probably wouldn't have been blocked indefinitely. Being blocked is worse than I thought
[edit]If you can edit, please undo http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Template:Di-no_license/doc&diff=302611000 Erik Warmelink (talk) 10:49, 26 July 2009 (UTC)
At Tikhon Khrennikov, a not-so-great image is used because there would be no free equivalent, however File:Khrennikov.jpg is free, in colour and somewhat bigger. It might be more about his position at the Union of Soviet Composers than about his work as a composer, but the article is also more about his position at the Union of Soviet Composers. http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Washington,_Tyne_and_Wear&diff=311927050&oldid=311494273 can't be reverted anymore, but the "Gaelic origin" is still mentioned. --Erik Warmelink (talk) 14:37, 6 November 2010 (UTC)

[edit]Re: I'd guess that the number of people affected by blocks is fairly minimal: I would guess the number of people editing is "more minimal". If User:Stephan Schulz can find a reliable source which claims that more than 1000 persons (not nicknames) edit wikipedia. I would be surprised; on the other hand, I do not know 1000 blocked persons either; however, I do personally know more blocked people than unblocked editors (then again, those people may continue to edit using another pseudonym). I am sure there far more people are affected by blocks than people with socks which were promoted to admin. Erik Warmelink (talk) 17:44, 2 December 2009 (UTC)
