Posting
[edit]Hello, Ericglare. At Talk:HIV/AIDS, I moved two of your comments, per what I stated in that edit summary. Also see WP:Talk about thread order and what to do regarding your or others' comments. Flyer22 (talk) 02:27, 21 January 2015 (UTC)
I replied again on my talk page. I noted there that I won't ping you via WP:Echo to that discussion anymore since I assume that if you want to read my replies, you will check back there. Flyer22 (talk) 07:26, 22 January 2015 (UTC)
Malicious block
[edit]Have next to no edits, only a few suggestions in talk Username is my name and no privacy issues No evidence of "Unintended triggering of anti-vandalism systems" But did move flats in February using same internet provider (new IP address I think). Interaction with only 1 editor, Flyer22, who I now see has been fighting blocks and IP sharing
Not informed of the specific trigger that was required -Why not? How moral is that? How inefficient. Makes for a childish yes-no-yes argument or gets rid of potential editors. I think I bring a biomedical research career and objectivity rationale that decimates some of the poor quality here on other far more senior people's pet topics and agendas. Most likely to rub editors the wrong way with decent research data. And I have been critical of how Wiki seeks to operate generally -like this block.
It is based on belief and this is an encyclopaedia: "it is believed to be an open or anonymizing proxy" There is not an adequate explanation of 'open IP address' and "anonymizing proxy" does not get another mention, there are no criteria to check, no tips for making it 'closed' and it is left to my own opinion - I live alone and have sole use of my iiNet ADSL2+ connection and likewise a small amount of data on my phone, ie it is all private but I'm happy to disclose. No one else has access. It is not open.

Request reason:
Caught by an open proxy block but this host or IP is not an open proxy but single service for me the sole occupant/user. Commenced new IP address in new flat in mid-February 2015. Ericglare (talk) 07:28, 12 June 2015 (UTC)
Accept reason:
IP block removed. You should be able to edit without issues now. Reaper Eternal (talk) 13:18, 12 June 2015 (UTC)
