Previous account
[edit]Hello! Are you associated with the previous account JSG intern that also created a draft article for Davina Semo?ThatMontrealIP (talk) 23:43, 4 October 2019 (UTC)
Hi! Thanks for checking in about this. I think I am coincidentally associated with this JSG intern account as when I saw it was trying to get a Davina Semo page up, I decided to help out. I'm from the SF area and learned about Semo's work through her shows here. I've been following her since about 2015 and I think she's a wonderful artist. When I saw that it was trying to make a page for Davina Semo a few weeks ago, I helped edit that initial page. When the Semo page was deleted, I decided to try and make a page for her on my own last week. Hopefully that clears it up. Also, sorry for the late response. I'll be better about checking my talk page from now on. Erica.Mansilver (talk) 17:23, 11 October 2019 (UTC)
- Not particularly believable, but thanks for the effort.ThatMontrealIP (talk) 18:26, 11 October 2019 (UTC)
I'm not sure what's unbelievable about my explanation, and I apologize if you feel I've done something wrong. But, if you have any suggestions for how I can get a Wikipedia page for this awesome artist, I'm all ears. I've still relatively new to Wikipedia, and I'd appreciate some advice for how to get information out about Davina Semo.Erica.Mansilver (talk) 19:09, 11 October 2019 (UTC)
- Your "coincidental association" doesn't account for the fact that you're editing from the same IP and device to continue to the same promotional edits as User:JSG Intern. As you are clearly the same individual, or someone working in close association with them, your account has been blocked for abuse of multiple accounts. -- Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 19:19, 11 October 2019 (UTC)

Davina Semo
[edit]I had a look at your draft for Davina Semo. She doesn't meet the notability requirements, yet. If you can dig up a couple more in-depth sources (like the Brooklyn Rail article I added), then she might. Otherwise, you'll need to wait a few years. You also have not answered the COI question above: are you working for her gallery?ThatMontrealIP (talk) 15:26, 6 October 2019 (UTC)
Hi again! Thank you for taking a look at this. I will do my best to edit this further. Maybe I can dig up more articles as well. If not, I will wait like you've suggested. And I answered the COI question a few minutes ago. Thank you again! Erica.Mansilver (talk) 17:26, 11 October 2019 (UTC)
