The welcome may be belated, but the cookies are still warm!

Here's wishing you a belated welcome to Wikipedia, Ereiter. I see that you've already been around a while and wanted to thank you for your contributions. Articulate intelligence moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Articulate intelligence, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please follow the confirms on the Articles for Creation template atop the page. Your draft article, Draft:Articulate intelligence

[edit]

Hello, Ereiter. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Articulate intelligence".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Dolotta (talk) 14:44, 30 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Wikidata and Google

[edit]

@Ereiter: Good evening, Professor. I hope you are keeping well. I'll email you if you don't respond here, but it's easier if I start here.

I noticed on your blog about the lies Google was telling about you, which seem to be half resolved, at least. I checked the German Wikipedia page, and that still seems to be okay. However, when I followed the link to Your Wikidata Item, I noticed some inaccuracies. I immediately corrected these and added your British "citizenship" to the existing American one.

I invite and encourage you to check what I have done. I'm just an ordinary Wikipedia contributor, not connected in any way with The Wikimedia Foundation. Here is the before and after: before and after.

You will note that your French description is "professeur d'université écossais". Well, I wasn't sure about "anglo-américain" at the time, let alone "écossais-américain". All the other languages that I can understand describe you as a professor or university teacher. I could probably find some other computer scientist's entry and copy the translations across from there, if it bothers you.

Please {{Ping|GrounderUK}} to let me know you've seen this (unless I email you first). Or if you have any questions or comments, of course... --GrounderUK (talk) 18:01, 25 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Response: Hello, many thanks for making these changes, I appreciate it! Ereiter (talk) 07:31, 27 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
