Hello and welcome to Wikipedia.

I write this message to you to let you know that I find your attitude very disturbing. First of all, you should check Wikipedia's policy regarding Neutral Point Of Vue for the articles. You have made lots of edits on a problematic issue and all your edits were POV. Also, it is advisable to behave in a civil manner and to refrain from making insults on the Wikipedia pages. If not, you will be considered either a vandal or you can be banned for a period of time or indefinetley from editing on Wikipedia.

Thank you, and I hope you'll take into consideration my advices. Mihai -talk 23:31, 18 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please tell me who you are, and where can I object against your decisions, if I think so?

All my edits were made in the spirit of respect for truth, so I do not accept your threats and intimidation. Regards, Erdelyiek 00:12, 19 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The medieval Székely society

[edit]

Could you please have a look at the new paragraph I wrote in hu:Székelyföld. If there are no objections I will translate it into English, too. --KIDB 08:44, 23 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hungarian minority in Romania

[edit]

Hi! I saw some of your recent edits that have been removed as uncited and possibly POV. I think they were quite valuable so please try and find sources and cite them so they can safely remain in the article.--Tamas 11:56, 29 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The more precise the citation the better: if you can provide page numbers etc., do provide them.--Tamas 15:47, 29 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Bukovina

[edit]

Why don't you believe that Bukovina had 86.000 people? And why do people call you an irridentist?Constantzeanu 22:57, 29 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah but this is exactly the years in which the population all over Europe grew 10 fold if not 15 fold. Don't forget that Ukrainians, Germans and Poles were being brought into the province so it should not come to any surprise to you that the population grew by so much.Constantzeanu 23:05, 29 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Whom to quote

[edit]

Hi! I don't think it is a good idea to quote Raffay here. Even if his figures etc. are correct, he won't be trusted because he is known for his far-right political views. You should quote mainstream historians who are reliable and widely respected: e.g. Ignac Romsics, to name just one. His has many good and well-researched books on 20th century Hungarian history, many of them have even been translated into English: e.g. Magyarország története a huszadik században [A History of Hungary in the 20st century], A trianoni békeszerződés [The Peace Treaty of Trianon]. These have many of the data you might need and they are perfectly respectable, non-nationalist, trustworthy, academic books on history. --Tamas 22:35, 30 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, about Transylvania, edits like this aren't the way to go. What is it exactly that you want to change about the article? --Latinus (talk (el:)) 13:06, 5 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Picture

[edit]

The Vienna Awards picture should correctly say "Czecho-Slovakia" (not Slovakia). Juro 05:18, 7 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

And you should probably tag it with {{PD-self}}; also, could you please answer my question at Image talk:ViennaAwards.GIF? Thanks. - Jmabel | Talk 21:14, 12 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

File source problem with File:IILajos.jpg

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:IILajos.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 22:07, 3 January 2011 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Magog the Ogre (talk) 22:07, 3 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference

[edit]

Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.

On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'. The only thing that's changed is that you will no longer have them marked as minor by default.

For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. If you are familiar with the contents of WP:MINOR, and believe that it is still beneficial to the encyclopedia to have all your edits marked as such by default, then this discussion will give you the details you need to continue with this functionality indefinitely. If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.

Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 20:15, 14 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
