Admin coaching request
You have previously expressed an interest in undergoing the Admin coaching program. We're currently engaged in a program reset to help things move more smoothly in the future. If you are still interested in the program, please go to Wikipedia:Admin coaching/Requests for Coaching and re-list yourself under Current requests, deleting your entry from Older requests. Also, double-check to make sure coaching is right for you at theCoachee checklist; WP:Adoption or WP:Editor review may be more appropriate depending on your situation and aspirations. We should get back to you within a day or so, once a coaching relationship has been identified. Thank you. MBisanz talk 07:07, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
Admin coaching match
Hello, I am pleased to announce that you have been paired with User:bibliomaniac15 as an admin coachee. You now have two important tasks to complete:
- 1. Introduce yourself to bibliomaniac15 and explain to them why you want to be an admin.
- 2. Once they has confirmed the relationship to you, edit Wikipedia:Admin coaching/Requests for Coaching to move your name to Wikipedia:Admin coaching/Status to record the match.
Given the limited coaching resources of the Admin Coaching project, if you plan to take a Wikibreak of more than 30 days, please notify your coach or myself so that we will know not to tag you as retired and give your spot to another user. Remember that adminship is not a big deal and that it may take multiple RfAs before one becomes a sysop, even for a highly qualified, coached, editor. Also, remember that while admin coaching will help you prepare for the mop, there is no guarantee that completing this program will ensure passage of an RfA.
Congratulations again, and happy editing. MBisanz talk 20:40, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
- Hi, I'll take you as a coachee. However, right now it will take a lot of work to get you shaped up into admin material. Administration is not fun and games. You should be motivated, but you should not seek it. Being an administrator is like being sent to the frontlines; there's more opportunity to get in the midst of the action but a lot more chance that you will be attacked. I would like you to continue your editor review and get some more feedback before starting coaching. In the meantime, you should familiarize yourself with the policies in Wikipedia:List of policies as well as admin reading material, which can be found on the WP:RFA page, in the section "Related reading." You should know how to apply these. Since you are relatively new with about 300 edits, I will help you gain a good start. I hope to guide you in article writing, deletion, protection, blocking, and policy. In the meanwhile, read up and prepare yourself. RFA is a grueling procedure, and there are many who deserve adminship but do not pass to get it. In the meantime, happy editing! bibliomaniac15 23:41, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
- Basically, it's an antivandalism tool that can be granted to a user that automatically reverts vandalism by a user back to a previous revision. It's like Twinkle's reversion. bibliomaniac15 23:58, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
- A page is usually made for the purpose, where I ask you questions typically asked in RFAs. I may ask you to read certain materials, and you can ask me questions about mostly anything. In this way, we both learn. However, I would encourage you to let your editor review run for about another week or two. In the meanwhile, continue to work on speedy deletion, vandalism fighting, and XFDs. Right now, I want your assignment to be to choose an article to work on. If you can get it up to GA or FA status, that would be great. I'll help you along the process, so be open. bibliomaniac15 00:08, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
- PS: By the way, if you want an example of admin coaching or some insights on admin coaching from the coachee's perspective, I suggest you talk to User:Canyouhearmenow, who I'm in the middle of coaching now. You can take a look at his page here. bibliomaniac15 00:10, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry I haven't contacted you. I think you need more experience before going through admin coaching, so instead, I'll be willing to WP:ADOPT you. This will give you a better introduction to Wikipedia, as opposed to admin coaching, which is for more experienced users. How does that sound? bibliomaniac15 21:12, 14 March 2008 (UTC)

hi, this article was intended as a test article. i didn't realise i wasn't using the sandbox platform. can you move the article? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Spectrumps (talk • contribs) 14:22, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
CSD hangons
Well the relevant policy to quote is "The tag exists to give you some extra time; the page may still be deleted if it meets the speedy deletion criteria." at Wikipedia:Deletion_policy#Speedy_deletion. Hangon means the requestor needs a couple minutes to fix whatever the problem is. But sometimes it can't be fixed. Like a copyvio can't be fixed just by adding the source link and Spam can't be fixed by adding more spam. And sometimes hangon is abused by people who put nonsense on the page and then contest it. As a new admin, I tend to jump over articles is hangon tags and leave them to more experienced admins. But I do know that the general rule is that even if its contested, it will eventually be speedied if it still violates one of the CSD rules. Hope that helps. MBisanz talk 19:58, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
- As an add-on. CSD is usually a quick way for an admin to look at an article and say whether or not it violates a major rule. It should only go to AfD if the speedy is declined AND you think it should be deleted. MBisanz talk 20:19, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
Your NPWatcher application
Dear Belinrahs,
Thank you for applying for NPWatcher! Unfortunately, your application has been declined because it seems that you don't have at least 500 edits. When you fulfill this requirement, feel free to re-apply.

you were subject to an unauthorised checkuser
Haemo recently made a checkuser request on a number of editors including you. This was completely illegal because he provided no evidence or plausible justification for it. Unfortunately the request was granted.
Most of those he checked up on, including me, are involved in an arbitration case he and his chums have launched against us. However I have absolutely no idea what he he was doing checking up on you. I don't know if you want to do anything about it, but I thought I should let you know anyway. ireneshusband (talk) 09:53, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
I reviewed you. Shalom (Hello • Peace) 04:19, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
The word 'Naidu/Nayudu' in Telugu language is derved from the word 'Nayaka/Nayakudu' which means a leader or Chief. This was initially used as a title by medieval warriors in the state of Andhra Pradesh. These warriors belonged to various Telugu-speaking castes such as Kamma (caste), Velama, Telaga, Balija and Perika. These communities migrated to other parts of south India as part of army movements. The word 'Naidu' does not denote any particular caste or social group as being claimed by some Wiki users. I tried to reason with them but in vain.Kumarrao (talk) 12:53, 4 July 2008 (UTC)

Mansur
Hi,
I just edited a comment for "Jossy Mansur" - I wasn't deleting the paragrpah 'which I wrote' but simply moving this from 'editorial' to publications. I should have noted this but as I am fairly new to this, I didn't know. Thanks for pointing this out.

Thanks
...for the nice comment on my talk. Blame it on a custom keyboard I am working on for Huggle to make vandal fighting more efficient, it seems to be working efficiently, but it's annoying to not have some sort of splitter switch so I can switch between them... I have to plug in one after the other endlessly, gah. But yeah, thanks. :) — neuro(talk) 10:43, 26 October 2008 (UTC)
Miriam Herrera
Just to say when you reverted the page about Miriam Herrera to Category Jewish Poets, she is not Jewish, you would only put her in Jewish Poets if she was Practising Judaism. She does not Practise Judaism, because she has Jewish Blood it does not mean she practises Judaism. (La convivencia (talk) 14:00, 30 October 2008 (UTC))
Your rollback request
Hello Belinrahs, after reading your explantion and reviewing your reverts, I have granted your account rollback in accordance with your request. Remember that rollback should be used to revert vandalism/spam, and misuse of the tool either by revert-warring with other editors or using it to revert edits you simply disagree with can lead to its removal. Good luck. Acalamari 17:06, 31 October 2008 (UTC)

Should we go back and revert the anon user's massive edit history, most of which are the same general edits. - NeutralHomer • Talk • October 31, 2008 @ 20:44
recent edit
I don't get this whole business of people who prowl Wikipedia and arbitrarily determine which edits are constructive and which are unconstructive. I deleted the segment about "meager wages" because I felt like the message the group was trying to promote was one of solidarity rather than of despair. Inclusion of the term "Meager wages" seems as if the term "blue collar" is some kind of pejorative. I justified my edit on the talk page of the page that I edited. You people... I swear to god. 132.161.142.216 (talk) 23:11, 31 October 2008 (UTC)

"vandalism"
Okay. Seriously. Did you even read the summary? "Incorrect, see main article under history of sewing machine." Did you check the actual edit? I removed the false information and reference. SUCH VANDALISM. What the hell is with people these days? I'm really getting tired of this crap, it's making it not worthwhile to edit wikipedia.24.175.72.249 (talk) 14:25, 1 November 2008 (UTC)
- That actually was a mistake, too quick with the "revert" button. I apologize for that. Continue on :)
you are NOT allowed to edit TALK PAGE
you are not talked to edit talk pages its a violation of the wikipeida rules. secondly im was informing you and others that a particlular person keeps vandalising the actor's page by purposely editing piven's character to another. 67.167.180.64 (talk) 14:40, 1 November 2008 (UTC)
Law Enforcement in Bhutan moved to Royal Bhutan Police
Dear Belinrahs,
There should be two categories for Law Enforcement in Bhutan, the Royal Bhutan Police (RBP) and the Forest Guards (this page does not exist yet but I will create it by tomorrow) therefore I thought the RBP information should be reverted to its original page, and two links be present in the Law Enforcement in Bhutan page. No intention of vandalism.
