[edit]The Arbitration Committee has authorised discretionary sanctions to be used for pages regarding all edits about, and all pages related to, (a) GamerGate, (b) any gender-related dispute or controversy, (c) people associated with (a) or (b), all broadly construed, a topic which you have edited. The Committee's decision is here.
Discretionary sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimize disruption to controversial topics. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to the topic that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behavior, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. This message is to notify you sanctions are authorised for the topic you are editing. Before continuing to edit this topic, please familiarise yourself with the discretionary sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.

[edit]This is your only warning; if you violate Wikipedia's biographies of living persons policy by inserting unsourced or poorly sourced defamatory content into an article or any other Wikipedia page again, as you did at Arthur Chu, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. . Acroterion (talk) 14:40, 3 May 2015 (UTC)- Repeating an obvious BLP problem in an unblock request is a poor choice. I've removed your access to this page, and changed the block to indefinite. Please note that even if the block is lifted later, the topic ban below is still in effect. Kuru (talk) 15:02, 3 May 2015 (UTC)
Topic ban
[edit]Due to your disruptive behavior on Arthur Chu I'm imposing upon you an indefinite ban on all edits about, and all pages related to, (a) GamerGate, (b) any gender-related dispute or controversy, (c) people associated with (a) or (b), all broadly construed per Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case/GamerGate. Additionally, you are blocked for one week for edit-warring to insert violations of the biographies of living persons policy. Acroterion (talk) 14:43, 3 May 2015 (UTC)
