- Re Heartfulness -- you seem to be trying to duplicate the article Mindfulness (Buddhism) at this title. If so, the title should remain as a redirect, the way that I fixed it. Thanks, NawlinWiki (talk) 11:10, 25 May 2010 (UTC)
- Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Heartfulness, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Please stop duplicating the article Mindfulness (Buddhism) at another title. NawlinWiki (talk) 11:15, 25 May 2010 (UTC)

[edit]The recent edit you made to Heartfulness constitutes vandalism, and has been reverted. Please do not continue to remove content from articles without explanation. Thank you. Leujohn (talk, stalk me?) 12:04, 25 May 2010 (UTC)
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing. I42 (talk) 12:20, 25 May 2010 (UTC)
- Note that you have curently reverted three editors a total of six times. Please stop edit warring. I42 (talk) 12:21, 25 May 2010 (UTC)
This is the final warning you will receive regarding your disruptive edits.
The next time you create an inappropriate page, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. I42 (talk) 12:25, 25 May 2010 (UTC)
Edit warring report
[edit]I have reported this Wikipedia:Administrators'_noticeboard/Edit_warring#User:Epsteins_reported_by_User:I42_.28Result:_.29 here. I am about to revert you again; if you leave the article alone after that you may well avoid a block. I42 (talk) 12:39, 25 May 2010 (UTC)
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Heartfullness (buddhism), and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.hyparxys.com/gpage2.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.)
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 13:23, 25 May 2010 (UTC)
Your contributed article, Heartfullness (buddhism)
[edit]Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, Heartfullness (buddhism). First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as yourself. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - Heartfulness. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will to continue helping improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Heartfulness - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.
If you think that the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. — Timneu22 · talk 13:29, 25 May 2010 (UTC)
{{unblock|Your reason here}}
below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. SGGH ping! 14:34, 25 May 2010 (UTC){{adminhelp}} I have never used wiki before, and I was trying to use the mindfulness page as a template to add another section to the buddhism portal. every time I did this it seems to be removed, I thought I was making mistakes, until I read this page. It is very important that Heartfulness is given its own page in wiki. It is Not mindfulness, infact it is the last stage in the development of the énlightenment process. If it is not given its own page on wiki then people will remain lost for the rest of time. Sounds serious, I know, but it is not a joke. Please help me to make this definition part of the buddhism portal so that other educated spiritual thinkers can assist in the development of the definition.
love and light Benjamin.
This is the content (below) I would like to add. As you can see; some of the sentences are taken from mindfulness, BUT the sanskrit is changed and the links go to different places in the portal. I wanted to keep the consistancy of the text similar to the seventh stage in the eightfold path (i.e. Mindfulness) because it is very popular right now in phycology. But I must stress again of the importance of translating "Śruti" into a mordern understanderble way of thinking.
It is the key aspect of the masters teaching, and without it there will be no deeper spiritual growth in the modern world.
Heartfulness (Buddhism) : Is a calm awareness of one's bodies’ feelings, the vibration of consciousness, or conscious feeling itself.
I.e. Compassionate Mindfulness - Heartfulness (Sanskrit: Śruti): -"cosmic sound of truth”.
Śruti plays a central role in hindu teachings and in the education of shakamuni the Buddha; where Prince Siddhārtha was taught that “hearing, listening, heartfulness”
(Sanskrit samyak-srúti) universal truth. is the key factor in the path to liberation and subsequent enlightenment.
Within modern sceince we have learned that
We can learn to regulate the subtle rhythms of our heart and create a state of Heartfulness.
Research has shown that when people breathe slowly and evenly and invoke positive emotions in themselves, the heart produces more coherent beating patterns. This produces a balance between the autonomic and sympathetic nervous systems, with practice, a person can learn to access this state in daily life, reducing the production of damaging stress-related hormones and promoting happiness and long term health.
Heartfulness is described as emotional connection with one's content of consciousness, or pure enlightenment, it is the eighth element of the Noble Eightfold Path, the attainment of which results in the realisation of wisdom (Pali: paññā, Sanskrit: prajñā).
The Satipatthana Sutta (Sanskrit: Smṛtyupasthāna Sūtra) is one of the foremost early texts dealing with wisdom A key innovative teaching of the Buddha was that meditative stabilisation, without this there is no heartfulness.

- Admin Comment You did not need an admin's help, but any longstanding editor. Wikipedia goes by WP:CONSENSUS. You were blocked because you were violating this key policy. By your own definition, heartfulness is a mere expansion of mindfulness - thus, it appears to be better used as an expansion of that article. Perhaps we can make what's called a redirect to from the word heartfulness to mindfulness. I have added a series of "welcome" links - you would do well to read an understand them during the very short duration of this block. I will be watching your talkpage, and look forward to helping with the above. (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 09:59, 26 May 2010 (UTC)
- Dear mr wilkins, I am sorry to say but you are wrong! And I am a little offended that you have so quickly dismissed my statements without reading them fully. Heartfulness is NOT AN EXPANSION of mindfulness and your ignorance offends me more. The sanskrit for Mindfulness is smṛti and the sandskrit for Heartfulness is Śruti So I reject your suggestions and request again administration assistance. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Epsteins (talk • contribs) 11:14, 26 May 2010
- I am now very very upset. The administrator BWILKINS has just cut me off. I would like assistance and my request has just be removed without any assitance. Is this the way you work at wikipedia????????????? And I would like another voluenteer to look at this as BWILKINS is a little too power crazed for my liking. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Epsteins (talk • contribs) 11:46, 26 May 2010
adminhelp
[edit]You need to use the {{unblock}} as described above, to request unblocking - not {{adminhelp}}.
Please read WP:FIRST, WP:GNG, WP:CONSENSUS and WP:DISPUTE first - you'll need to demonstrate that you now understand how Wikipedia works with consensus, etc. Cheers, Chzz ► 11:21, 26 May 2010 (UTC)
Adminhelp cancelled. To appeal the block, see below. If you wish to challenge the block and/or complain, send email to unblock-en-l@lists.wikimedia.org
We will not enter into discussions about content with a blocked user; that needs to be resolved first.
An unblock request using {{unblock}} should be used at the end of this page, as previously discussed.
Those are the options available; we will not enter into discussions about suggested content for Wikipedia until the blocking problem is dealt with. Please follow the instructions given. See Wikipedia:Blocking policy.
Best, Chzz ► 12:03, 26 May 2010 (UTC)
- Thank you for the explanation. I would still like the problem reslved. But I can wait! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Epsteins (talk • contribs) 12:46, 26 May 2010
Reordered comments
[edit]Epstein - I have reordered all the comments here so that the converations are linear - this will help anyone who wishes to advise and assist with your article creation make sense of all that's been said, so I recommend you leave it like this, but if you object you can, of course, revert it. It is encouraged that you sign your own comments when making them; to do that put four tildes (~~~~) at the end of them. I42 (talk) 20:13, 26 May 2010 (UTC)
Block; Heartfulness
[edit]Because you did not respond to the comments and warnings as they were being left when you were creating the Heartfulness article, and you repeatedly undid other editors changes (edit warred), you ended up blocked. It appears this was because of unfamiliarity with the procedures, so please make sure you read the links to various pages people have left you. Meantime, your block should have ended by now so you have no editing restrictions.
However, simply recreating Heartfulness is likely to end up the same way unless you can show, with references in reliable sources why this is a notable subject separate from the other Buddhism articles, and not just your own interpretation or creation. The maxim here is verifiability, not truth - all content must not just be correct, it must be demonstratably correct. I42 (talk) 20:20, 26 May 2010 (UTC)
Epsteins
[edit]Copied this query and reply over from my talk; I thought it might be useful here.
Hi Chzz, you seem like a cool guy. I need some help with this wiki site. you were kind enough to explane to me why I was being shut down by the other admins. And I really need an expert to get this Heartfulness page up and working in a good way. If you have the time I would really appretiate if you could walk me throught the process. Kindest regards Benjamin. Epsteins (talk) 16:17, 26 May 2010 (UTC)
- My advice is;
- Do not copy from other websites
- Do not create a live article. Instead, make a user-space draft, and get others to check it.
- Use facts with references to reliable sources.
- Please read WP:FIRST. Chzz ► 03:43, 27 May 2010 (UTC)
- Ask others to check the article; ask for help, at any time. Chzz ► 22:17, 29 May 2010 (UTC)
