[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to John Blume has been reverted, as it appears to have removed content from the page without explanation. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you. Creating biographical articles
[edit]Hi Epic1218. I'm not sure if you're still around on Wikipedia, but if you need help creating a biographical article in the future, please ask. What you did with John Blume isn't appropriate — most of the article is a direct copy and paste from an external web site.
Even if you modify a few words and slightly paraphrase a few sentences (which you did in the history of User:Epic1218/Practice page), it remains plagiarism. I've blanked that page (and also deleted the duplicate at User:Epic1218/Practice) to remove the plagiarism and copyright violation from Google searches.
To avoid problems in the future, you might try taking point-form notes from multiple sources, then sorting the information into a sensible organization scheme, and then generate original prose (with appropriate footnotes). TenOfAllTrades(talk) 18:34, 24 January 2009 (UTC)
