Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The nerdist podcast

[edit]

Still not convinced it's notable. The only Gnews hits were one-sentence mentions, and Google shows a very small number of hits even when spelled right. Ten Pound Hammer, his otters and a clue-bat • (Otters want attention) 21:54, 8 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/DeAuthThis

When searing "John Draper Interview" on google the first page (under video results) lists DeAuthThis's episodes 3 interviewing John Draper http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&source=hp&biw=1920&bih=1033&q=john+draper+interview&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai= interview: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zH_hkZwBo18 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Acer5050 (talkcontribs) 01:33, 10 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed that you have revised either Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri or Sid Meier's Alien Crossfire.

I intend to revise those articles following the Wikipedia:WikiProject Video games/Article guidelines. There are more details on the discussion pages of those articles. I'd be interested in any comments you have. It would be best if your comments were on the discussion pages of the two articles.

Thank you.

Webkinz Trading Cards

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Webkinz Trading Cards, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of Webkinz Trading Cards. JASpencer (talk) 17:20, 26 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed that the Webkinz Trading Cards talk page does not have a "result of the discussion was keep" template. Could you possibly dig the discussion out of the archives and add a template there? Thanks, haha169 (talk) 00:02, 26 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga‎

[edit]

You shouldn't have passed Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga‎ as a good article. One of the images in the article has no fair use rationale which all images in good articles require. Please familiarize yourself with Wikipedia:Good article criteria prior to evaluating further good article candidates. Thanks, Metros (talk) 19:47, 1 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Rationale added now. Don't worry—it's an easy mistake to make. Ashnard Talk Contribs 19:54, 1 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Webkinz Trading Cards

[edit]

An editor has nominated Webkinz Trading Cards, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Webkinz Trading Cards and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 19:59, 1 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Good article nomination for Super Smash Bros. (series)

[edit]

I regret to advise you that your good article nomination for this article has been declined. This is because the article is still the subject of heavy editing and has not reached a stable version. Please consider nominating again when the article is no longer being edited as frequently. Stifle (talk) 15:27, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Where did this come from? There is no source! Personally I think it's BS! Shapiros10 (talk) 22:12, 18 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Assuming you're referring to the Tui Sutherland comment, I got it off the Erin Hunter page. I was just trying to keep it the articles consistent. I'm sorry if it is wrong, but maybe you should ask whoever added it to the Erin Hunter article where they got the info. Sorry again, but you should really check out the EH page. Epass (talk) 00:19, 19 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry for snapping, but Wikipedia is a non-reliable source. It's okay, I would've done the same myself when I was newer. Shapiros10 (talk) 01:36, 19 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

On the talk page of Warriors, you asked why I had changed the heading to "Spinoffs". I changed it because the New Prophecy and PoT are the continuation of the first series, not the the Super editions, field guides, and manga. These just go into more detail on a subject or character presented in the three Warriors series. Are you okay with me changing it back? Shrewpelt (talk) 02:40, 2 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

'Other Warrior Books' is fine with me. I'll change it. Shrewpelt (talk) 13:51, 2 March 2008 (UTC) Chances are it is NOT a series. 99% chance it is only one manga book.[reply]

Webkinz Pets

[edit]

Yeah, I noticed that I shouldn't have added the pets, after I had saved, but I had to get off the computer. I was going to fix it when I could get back on, but it seems you already fixed it. Thanks again! Writergirlrocks (talk) 22:41, 4 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Webkinz Games

[edit]

Why does putting the games make it sound like and ad? Can you put anything on the page? 72.128.43.189 (talk) 23:29, 5 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia has a lot of rules, I didn't make them. A while ago I made an article about Webkinz Trading Cards. In less than two weeks it had been deleted. Another page I created someone deleted without letting me know. There used to be a whole article with the games, but it got deleted. Maybe, since there is a List of Webkinz stuffed animals, you might be able to make an article called List of games in the Webkinz Arcade, but I can't say for sure if it would get deleted. GA failure for Resident Evil 4 weapons

[edit]

Hi Epass, you recently quick-failed the GA nomination of Weapons of Resident Evil 4 because it had a merge tag (based upon the discussion here I've since removed that tag). If you agree with removing the merge-tag, would you mind re-assessing the article? The reason I ask is because the primary author has initiated the re-assessment process here, and we can save time if you're willing to simply skip that step. Thanks for your time.--chaser - t 16:44, 14 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

As per your suggestions in the GA review, I have added some information about other consoles and the Saturn. It is part of the 32 bit era and beyond section. Does the article pass GA review now, or is there something else that you need me to take care of first? Red Phoenix flame of life...protector of all... 18:26, 25 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks so much for the GA review. Just thought I'd let you know a little something about ratings: At the Sega Project, the A-Class rating is higher than GA-Class. The article was previously reviewed by two reviewers, as per our policy at WP:SEGA/A and assessed with an A-Class rating. So we're going to keep the A-Class for the Sega Project for the time being. Anyway, I appreciate the review. Red Phoenix flame of life...protector of all... 18:08, 26 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Hi Epass!
We thank you for uploading Image:Webkinz logo.png, but there is a problem. Your image is currently missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. Unless you can help by adding a copyright tag, it may be deleted by an Administrator. If you know this information, then we urge you to add a copyright tag to the image description page. We apologize for this, but all images must confirm to policy on Wikipedia.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks so much for your cooperation.

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Harvest Moon Logo.gif)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Harvest Moon Logo.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 09:04, 2 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Balloon Yoshi Screenshot.jpg

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Balloon Yoshi Screenshot.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Spartaz Humbug! 15:34, 29 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
