User talk:Eolay8
Hello (Mtan0986 (talk) 22:28, 1 April 2019 (UTC)).
Welcome
[edit]Hello, Eolay8 and welcome to Wikipedia! It appears you are participating in a class project. If you haven't done so already, we encourage you to go through our training for students.
If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}}
before the question. Please also read this helpful advice for students.
Before you create an article, make sure you understand what kind of articles are accepted here. Remember: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and while many topics are encyclopedic, some things are not.
Your instructor or professor may wish to set up a course page, and if your class doesn't already have one please tell your instructor about that. It is highly recommended that you place this text: {{Educational assignment}}
on the talk page of any articles you are working on as part of your Wikipedia-related course assignment. This will let other editors know this article is a subject of an educational assignment and aid your communication with them.
We hope you like it here and encourage you to stay even after your assignment is finished! HapHaxion (talk / contribs) 05:23, 30 April 2019 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:Wrack book cover.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Wrack book cover.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 02:51, 1 May 2019 (UTC)

Non-free content use
[edit]Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. We always appreciate when users upload files. However, it appears that one or more of the files you have uploaded or added to a page, specifically User:Eolay8/sandbox, may fail our non-free policy. Most often, this involves editors uploading or using a copyrighted file of a living person. For other possible reasons, please read up on our Non-free criteria. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 07:15, 7 May 2019 (UTC)
Navboxes
[edit]Okay, so what I was saying last night - go into the page history, extract the code that you used to create the appearance of the navbox.
Then create a template - say, Template:James Bradley bibliography, or whatever other name feels apt. Paste the navbox code there: voila, actual navbox. Then, restore it to the article by adding {{James Bradley bibliography}} (or whatever you call it). Remember to use curly braces instead of square brackets! DS (talk) 12:57, 3 June 2019 (UTC)
- I have done as you have instructed! Thanks so much for all the help!! Eolay8 (talk) 13:54, 3 June 2019 (UTC)
