Not a bad idea to pull in the TV show page, but a TV show page is going to look very different than a biography article. You may want to use the biography of a homesteader (could be anyone) as a template. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fannie_Quigley or https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kathleen_Rockwell might be candidates for biographical formatting of the Kilcher article. You might also be able to connect your articles to the Frontier Myth or the Homestead Acts

[edit]There is what appears to be a citation [2] but is not. Have you read much of his memoir. I think you can use it to establish his birth date. I pulled in a source, but it's not a very good one, and I didn't want to leave the google search sentence.
