Sorry, we don't allow partnership accounts: only individuals

[edit]
Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames that give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; you are welcome to create a new account with a username that represents only you. You should also read our conflict of interest guideline. If your username doesn't represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice. Thank you.

Request reason:

I am just and individual and I am sorry that I did not realise that putting two surnames on the username would indicate a group. My surname is John but people often think it is a first name so combining the name with another makes it easier to think of it as a surname. Can I be unblocked? Do I need to change the username? I would not want to lose my article as I am keen to put the TOMs out there as I get so many questions about outcome measures for Allied Health.

Decline reason:

You are clearly writing on behalf of an organization. Wikipedia is WP:NOTWEBHOST, and the topic you're writing about is not encyclopedic. As such, it has no apparent place on Wikipedia. It is also highly WP:PROMO. If there are other topics/articles you wish to work on - and you promise not to continue with non-encylopedic work/promotion - then you should be able to create a new userid. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

{{unblock-ip|1=143.167.209.49|2={{softerblock}}|3=Orangemike Thank you for reviewing my request. I now understand your reasoning. I am a researcher and have done lots of work on outcome measures for allied health. I anm often asked why wikipedia has so little on outcome measures for allied health so I thought I could decribe one approach but now I realise that is actually seen as promoting one approach. I will think about this and see if I can write something more general to encompass outcome measures and the different ways it can be measured using differing strategies. But would that be acceptable to wiki - am I still not getting what the wiki needs in an article? Any advice or links to guide me please?}

Since you keep attaching references to a paper whose first authors are P. Enderby and A. John, it was hard not to conclude that this was P. Enderby AND A. John. (I work for a guy named Robert John, jokingly known as The Man With No Last Name; I understand that it can be a last name.) You still seem to be eager to be restored here so that you can publicize your own research. --Orange Mike | Talk 12:28, 20 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
