You are an official "Nintendo Fighter" for your work on keeping the List of Nintendo Revolution games factual.

Hey, I'm acting as Bongo1234 (talk · contribs)'s advocate. I'm just after your explantion for the revert, so hopefully we can come to a quick resolution. Thanks. Computerjoe's talk 15:30, 2 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The link just seems inappropriate to me. It's a site that's voicing one person's opinion, is it not?

A tag has been placed on Douglas Harper, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be a biographical account about a person, group of people, or band, but it does not indicate how or why he/she/they is/are notable. If you can indicate why Douglas Harper is really notable, I advise you to edit the article promptly, and also put a note on Talk:Douglas Harper. Any admin should check for such edits before deleting the article. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles. You might also want to read our general biography criteria. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. To contest the tagging and request that admins should wait a while for you to assert his/her/their notability, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and then immediately add such an assertion. It is also a very good idea to add citations from reliable sources to ensure that your article will be verifiable. Leuko 16:43, 24 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Barnstar

[edit]

I'd like to thank you for your efforts in constantly updating the List of Untitled Wii Projects. I know it doesn't receive as much attention as the List of Wii games, but yet you still keep it current, which is worthy of a Nintendo Barnstar (along with all of your contributions to the List of Wii games itself).

List of Wii games

[edit]

Hey there Enbob,

I've noted that you've contributed before to the List of Wii games. Just wanted to let you know that the list is getting ready for Featured status and is currently undergoing a Peer Review. If you can take a moment to look over the article and add your suggestions/comments here, it'd be much appreciated. Thanks! -Digiwrld1 21:36, 2 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

List of Wii Games - Templates

[edit]

Commenting on your recent edits to the List of Wii Games article, I would like to notify you that the use of templates like {{TBA}} and {{Dts}} is advised against on that article. The article was getting too long in filesize, and the templates were not displaying correctly. See the article talk page on how to do TBA and Dts without the templates --User:Krator (t c) 21:06, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Dts and TBA templates were indeed used, but broke the page when they were used too much. Currently, <span style="display:none">0YYYY-MM-DD</span>[[YYYY-MM-DD]] is used. See the article talk page for more details. --User:Krator (t c) 13:45, 10 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your addition to list of Wii Games

[edit]

Read our policy on WP:RS, and actually check the link next time. Adding bogus to Wikipedia is vandalism, and reverting vandalism removals can also be considered vandalism. Be more careful in the future --lucid 21:58, 20 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't notice the link was dead. I'll see if I can find another. --enbob89 22:04, 20 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
You aren't going to because it was blatant vandalism. --lucid 22:08, 20 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I only reverted the edit because I didn't notice the link was dead. At one point, that link was working. If you look at the article for Beautiful Katamari, there is still a link to that article. The article explains that Famitsu reported that Beautiful Katamari was canceled for PS3 and announced for Wii.[1][2][3]. If these sources aren't good enough for you, we can leave the game off the list. I'd also like to remind you that according to our policy on WP:VAN, "Vandalism is any addition, removal, or change of content made in a deliberate attempt to compromise the integrity of Wikipedia." I was not trying to compromise the integrity of Wikipedia. I was not deliberately trying to add false information to the article. I just made a mistake. --enbob89 22:25, 20 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Pirates Vs Ninjas

[edit]

Greetings. I am curious as to why you deleted Pirates Vs. Ninjas Dodgeball from List of Wii games? If you check the article and the sources it links to, you will see that the game is supposed to be released for the Wii. --ZeWrestler Talk 21:41, 2 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. For a title to be listed on the List of Wii games, you must provide a reference unless the game is listed on IGN or Nintendo's own website. I understand that the Pirates Vs. Ninjas Dodgeball article lists Wii as one of the platforms, but this is erroneous. This game has only been confirmed for the Xbox Live Arcade. If you can find a reference, by all means put it back. --enbob89 23:57, 2 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Do either of these qualify? qj.net IGN. I've also sent an inquire to Blazing Lizard to get an official statement from them. When I get it, I will let you know.--ZeWrestler Talk 00:54, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I got the following from the Blazing Lizard.
Hi,
Thank you for your interest in PvND! As of right now the only version we've
announced is the Xbox Live Arcade one. However, keep your eyes peeled on
www.blazinglizard.com or www.piratesvsninjas.com for the latest news!
Thanks,

Remember to use an edit summary

[edit]

I have noticed that you often edit without an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This is considered an important guideline in Wikipedia. Even a short summary is better than no summary. An edit summary is even more important if you delete any text; otherwise, people may think you're being sneaky. Also, mentioning one change but not another one can be misleading to someone who finds the other one more important; add "and misc." to cover the other change(s). Thanks! List of Wii Games

[edit]

I am thinking about breaking the giant table in the List of Wii games into pieces as seen in the List of PlayStation 2 games to help improve legibility. Since you are the one who I've seen work the most on the list, I thought I'd get your opinion on the idea before I made the change. --ZeWrestler Talk 16:16, 20 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've been considering switching it up too. The PS2 list looks good, but it can't be sorted like the Wii list. My idea was to split the list in three, having a different page for each region. That way there will be only one release date column and the region exclusives will be out of the way. That would also allow for an Australian list, as many have requested. --enbob89 (talk) 17:37, 20 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
So something along the lines of how the Virtual Console lists are split into regions.--ZeWrestler Talk 18:13, 20 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, exactly. --enbob89 (talk) 21:22, 20 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

X-Blades

[edit]

Does gamepro as a source qualify for the inclusion of X-Blades in the list of Wii games article? --ZeWrestler Talk 22:11, 4 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It would but there's no mention of X-Blades on Wii in any article on Gamepro (that I know of). They just made a game page for it, listing it as a Wii game and such listings are often tentative or speculative. Also, it's likely that this listing is based on the press release from Southpeak that came out today which ambiguously lists the game as coming to next generation consoles. I think the best source is an actual article from a suitable publication. --enbob89 (talk) 23:36, 4 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Compile Heart

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Compile Heart requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for companies and corporations.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Icewedge (talk) 06:24, 20 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Spam in 2K Play

[edit]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on 2K Play, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because 2K Play is blatant advertising for a company, product, group, service or person that would require a substantial rewrite in order to become an encyclopedia article.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting 2K Play, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. To see the user who deleted the page, click here CSDWarnBot (talk) 06:40, 20 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The article Kazuaki Morita has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Notability not aasserted and not established by the source provided.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.  Blanchardb -MeMyEarsMyMouth- timed 16:29, 7 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Cellien Studios

[edit]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Cellien Studios. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Cellien Studios. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:03, 23 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Parsons Brinckerhoff, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. ukexpat (talk) 13:00, 29 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
