- Hi. I erased the distinction left wing - right wing in both the unitarian party page and the federal party page. I havent heard a single argument that compels me to believe this is correct. This should be further discussed, but i can synthesize my points:
- The unitarian party membership, at least in its early years, had strong monarchical convictions, the federalists were always pretty democratic.
- The unitarian pary believed in census suffrage, the federalists, in universal suffrage.
- The unitarian party was economically liberal, while the federalists were protectionists
- The unitarian party was, also, really racist. (The federalists too, but unitarians were more combative in their borders policy against indians)
- Both parties where supported by economic elites, but federalists were also supported by the masses
- There are even more points, but i believe these are enough to explain why this distinction is retarded and doesnt make sense. Have a nice day. EmpyrosHunyadi (talk) 18:32, 2 November 2024 (UTC)
