The section you have written seems strong. Given that you are writing a page for an entire country, it seems like the part you have written thus far would fit best in a "History" section. Your sources seem reliable and unbiased.

Right now, it seems unclear what exactly your page will be about as this section covers many topics. That being said, there is really good information in here. It might be helpful to break it up into sections.
