Hi Orange Mike, Could you please help me understand why the page I created for Lubov Azria yesterday was deleted? I'm not affiliated with her or BCBG. Could you please offer some suggestions to make what I wrote appropriate for Wikipedia? I really appreciate your help, and I hope we can resolve this. Thank you. Emma
- Articles about this person have a long history of conflict of interest problems, and your "new" article is almost a word-for-repeat of the copyrighted websites of the company and the last version that the company tried to put into Wikipedia. If you have no connection with her or her company, I suggest you try to put a bit of information, in your own words, into the parent article on the company itself. --Orange Mike | Talk 15:51, 3 February 2010 (UTC)
Hi Orange Mike, Thank you for your reply. I wasn't aware that there had been an issue in the past. I'll do a new article about Mrs. Azria, however I don't think it belongs in the article on Max Azria, her husband. She's a well-known player in the fashion world. I'm a freelance writer doing some stories on the upcoming Fashion Week and was surprised that she wasn't on Wikipedia-- hence why I made the page. If I put together a new article, is there some way I can run it by you before I post it to make sure you don't see any problems? Thank you very much for your help. - Sure. Create a new draft article in a sandbox such as this one: User:Emmamabel/Lubov Azria which I just created; make sure you've got solid coverage from reliable sources. Please read WP:BIO for our standards as to notability. Not everybody with a husband/wife/partner in the business is notable, even if they get passing mentions in Fashion Week coverage. --Orange Mike | Talk 14:28, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
Hi Orange Mike, Thanks again for your help. I finally put up an article about Lubov Azria in the sandbox you provided. Please let me know if this is okay to go live on Wikipedia. Thank you! EmmaEmmamabel (talk) 22:16, 2 March 2010 (UTC)
