Edits to La Mulâtresse Solitude article

[edit]

Hi @Emilyrosenthal, Coachscott3: You added unsourced text to the article on La Mulâtresse Solitude, which makes it difficult for readers to verify factual statements in your article. Every statement should be followed by a supporting citation; if a group of sentences are all supported by the same source, you can place a single reference after all of them, but you need to have at least one reference per paragraph, and you shouldn't have any statements after the final reference in a paragraph. If you need a refresher on how to add citations, please consult this training module.

Reminder: You should only use quotes when the precise wording significantly improves the reader's understanding, and even then, it should generally be less than than 5-8 words. The use of copyright content on Wikipedia needs to be kept to a minimum. If you have any questions or would like clarification, feel free to reach out to me. I understand the need to keep quotations to a minimum, but since there are so few sources I thought I would include the original passage that was written about to provide context to frame the entire article. Emilyrosenthal (talk) 19:39, 5 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
