Hi Emily,

I read your section. I would say overall, the content is pretty clear and easy to understand. Your part is relevant to the fundamental human needs wiki-article too. But I have a few suggestions for you.

For your first sentence, I think decision-making process sounds better.

"Max-Neef's fundamental human needs forms the basis for the creation of his alternative development, as opposed to Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs, which focuses on a ranking of psychological needs, whereas Max-Neef includes needs that are complementary, each one necessary for achieved satisfaction.[5]" For this sentence, do you think it's possible to break them into two sentences? It might be too long for a sentence. I have to read a couple times to fully understand what it's trying to convey. Or maybe, using parenthesis or dash, or other punctuations if you want to keep everything in a sentence.

For the last sentence, what do you mean by small scale? Is it possible to be more specific on that? Is there a result that can validate what you wrote on the usefulness of human scale development? For example, is it more efficient to use this system in workplace or some other occasions? How so? There's a typo on your last sentence - societyal. Should be societal.
