Doric Loon (talk) 18:16, 5 June 2021 (UTC)- Hi, the above message was created automatically by the AfC script, but I'd like to add a personal message. I'm delighted to see you getting involved in Wikipedia, and your first shot at an article is very well done. However, I was hesitant about whether to accept it or not. The criteria is whether the article would survive an AfD challenge, and while I think it might, I should warn you that it needs some more work to cement that. The main problem is that most of the citations are to relatively minor sources. If the organization is doing anything worthwhile, I would expect the occasional article in an Irish national newspaper, and that is the kind of citation you need to show notability. So if you don't want the article deleted, keep expanding it. --Doric Loon (talk) 18:24, 5 June 2021 (UTC)
- Thank you very much, I wasn't sure how it would be received as it was my first but very good to know I am on the right track. I understand your comment and concern about the level of references, I will continue to follow it and update it as more notable references become available. Thank you again.
