[edit]Wikipedia is not a wp:reliable source. See wp:circular I removed your Wikipedia link / citation. If the person's article says they are from, live in, or lived in a particular place, that should be good enough. Otherwise it would need an external link to that fact. If a person does not have an article and they don't meet wp:notability (people), then they should not be included as such. Just being on a football team does not confer notability. I removed Scott Etzel as I don't see his notability being established. See wp:listpeople and wp:wtaf. Also, make sure that the person's link is actually to an article about him and not to someone else of the same name or to a wp:disambiguation page page.
