By the way, I like your new articles on notable military folk. The descriptions sound like they're coming from the same source: could you add a reference for it in each of the articles? This will make it easier for folk coming after you, and allow readers who are really interested to go off and learn more. Happy Wiki-ing! JackyR 02:21, 6 March 2006 (UTC)
- They sound like they're coming from the same source because they all seem to be coming from the same source. And they're all blatant copy-paste of copyright material. To see for yourself, click here: [1] - Bladeswin 02:28, 6 March 2006 (UTC)
Avoiding copyright probs
[edit]Because you've copied directly from another website, Wikipedia would be breaking the law if it didn't remove these articles. But you can save them from deletion by re-writing the articles from scratch. If you can find more sources, and include extra info from those, that would be even better. Cheers, JackyR 03:05, 6 March 2006 (UTC)
- Apart from adding copyrighted material to a number of articles and creating a number of others (which have either been speedily deleted or tagged as copyvios), you have replaced text on articles tagged as copyvios. Please stop all of this. You're welcome to edit here if you follow our policies and guidelines, but if you insist on adding copyrighted material, you will be blocked from editing. --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 09:56, 6 March 2006 (UTC)
