Dawn Christadelphian discussion
[edit]Hey Elpis, I'm glad that you seem to be as confused as me about the "official" lines of discussion... anyway. I know that the example of me and my best man isn't a huge one, but all I was trying to show anon was that there is communication between the two fellowships, and if there were to be any reconciliation in the future, then friendship is the first step in my opinion. You are right however that this isn't the place for this sort of discussion, it just saddens me so much to see people who are so completely anti-friendship! With love in Christ. --Samtheboy 23:03, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
Recent edit of Dawn Christadelphians article
[edit]Hi Elpis. Just dropping you a note because I've edited the Dawn Christadelphian article, so thought it might be courteous to let you know: I would've spoken to the other Dawn Christadelphian who's been on the Talkpage of the article, but they haven't left a signature to contact them by.
I feel the edit I've made has made the article easier to read - and I haven't changed the meaning (I don't think). The most major edit was a removal of the information about the Temperance Hall Fellowship's history after the division with Berean Fellowship as it is not part of Dawn Fellowship history so is not relevant to an encyclopaedic article about the Dawn Fellowship. I hope this is all alright. With love, in Christ. --Woofboy 12:57, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
Hi again, Elpis. Sorry to bother you, but I was wondering if you wouldn't mind taking an impartial look at the Dawn Christadelphian article. The edits I made have been removed, which I don't mind, but the article reverted back to an article that includes non-relevant information. The last edit I made is in the history under my name (Woofboy) - would you mind taking a look, please, comparing it to the current article? Thanks. I can be contacted via my talkpage. With love, in Christ. --Woofboy 10:47, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
Not to worry, Elpis. It's possible that this could just turn into an edit battle, so I'm going to leave it. Thanks for your time, though. Woofboy 10:09, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
Hello, sorry for a delay in replying I do not often look at this page and it appears I should have done! I guess I sit on the fence on this one. The article could flow more easily and better explain why the history bits are in there. I agree with 'IP address' that it helps an historical context, but upon reflection it does not fully explain why this is so. As a Dawn member I would say that the historical splits, Bearean plus Old paths etc etc, have a bearing upon why Dawn/ other fellowships are separate. When time permits maybe I will give some thought to a few additional lines to explain more fully. Regards --Elpis 10:27, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
