Peer Review: Hi Alex, I think you did a great job! I thought it was really smart to include some of the history behind fluoride and its discovery. I found your writing to be easy to comprehend, and I think those without a health science background will be able to understand as well! I think you chose interesting elements of the topic to add to the article, and I am especially interested to learn more about fluoride’s use in osteoporis treatment and the worldwide views on its utilization in general. I think the most important thing you can do to improve your article would be to add the appropriate citations within your paragraphs. I think you found a lot of interesting and valuable information and adding the sites will help other people learn more on the topic! It is not necessary at all, but another way to enhance your article would be to add infographics or additional statistics on fluoride use. Overall, I think you did a great job organizing the article and renaming the sections. This was something I struggled with in my article draft, so I will definitely be learning from you! Peer Review Olivia Castagno: Hi Alex! I think you did a great job adding to this article. I really like that you added a history section to give people background on the topic. Your writing is very clear and easy to understand.
I think one thing you could do to improve it is potentially breaking down the history section a little further so that it isn’t as long and is a bit more clear. Even breaking it down into like “early 1900s”, “mid 1900s” “current views”, etc. I also think you could add further to the health benefits section. I know there are a lot of health benefits and you could go into further detail on those. Adding some statistics on how much adding fluoride to water has improved people's overall and oral health would be useful to prove the benefits.
Overall, I think just refining your work would help. There are a few small grammatical errors that you could fix. You added very strong content, I just think it needs to be fine tuned a bit more, by organizing it furhter. Also, don’t forget to add your sources/citations to it. However, I think you’re off to a great start, and this article has a lot of great information in it.
