Request reason:

This is quite the outrageous block. I've been trying to shield Wikipedia from vandals with nefarious intent, warding them off with many a stern warning, and you block me?! What foulness is this of a reward for my heroic deeds?! Elmira Hagenes (talk) 15:07, 12 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Returning banned nuisance. Anyone should feel free to revert this account's edits without further explanation. -- zzuuzz (talk) 15:12, 12 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Looking through a lot of your reverts, I've found too many false positives. This and this for example are both constructive edits which you reverted. Also, your unblock request kinda reads like trolling. I initially thought the block was too harsh but now I am more inclined to agree with it. Wilhelm Tell DCCXLVI (talk to me!/my edits) 15:11, 12 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Elmira Hagenes, it seems like you've violated the three-revert-rule, this article specifically, which states, "An editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page—whether involving the same or different material—within a 24-hour period. Hacked (Talk|Contribs) 15:14, 12 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Hacked: Note that 3RR doesn't apply to antivandalism, which is what the user was purportedly doing. However, as zzuuzz noted above, this is likely a long-term abuser, so the block is justified anyway. ~ Wilhelm Tell DCCXLVI (talk to me!/my edits) 15:33, 12 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Both of you please read [1]. Borgenland (talk) 15:42, 12 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Wilhelm Tell DCCXLVI. My original intention was to point out what other things the user in question did wrong. Hacked (Talk|Contribs) 15:46, 12 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
In fairness to them, these two edits were legitimate corrections, as they reverted vandalism made by an IP address.[2], [3] Sheriff | ☎ 911 | 16:13, 12 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
They got lucky with two out of nearly 500, all in the span of fourteen minutes; I wasn't going to waste my time reviewing them all. @SheriffIsInTown: do you have a problem with anonymous edits at National Assembly of Pakistan? Seems like one editor has been persistently adding incorrect information for over a month and getting reverted each time. Does this need protection? Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 16:22, 12 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Ivanvector Please refer to my note at Wikipedia talk:Requests for page protection#Upward of a thousand articles requiring protection. Another editor complaining of similar behavior here. Any assistance would help reduce my time spent countering vandalism and allow me to focus on other tasks. Sheriff | ☎ 911 | 16:28, 12 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Does anyone know the main account/investigation of this suspected sockpuppet? Sangsangaplaz (Talk to me! I'm willing to help) 15:54, 12 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure for this one, @Zzuuzz: seems to think it's a different LTA from who I suspect. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 16:22, 12 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yup this one is Hamish Ross, WP:LTA/HR. If Ivan wants to discuss it he knows how to find me. -- zzuuzz (talk) 16:38, 12 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
