Disambiguation link notification for June 28
[edit]Hi. When you recently edited Stephen Tompkinson, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Heartbeat, Shades and Ken Goodwin (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

DCI Banks reference
[edit]No problem. Actually, the main reason for my edit was the date - it showed presumably the date of your edit, January 11, when I knew it had to be earlier. That led me back to the original source. I see you're fairly new to Wikipedia. Welcome, and I hope you enjoy editing! Verne Equinox (talk) 14:13, 12 January 2013 (UTC)

Photo
[edit]The photo is actually a freely available, CC-licensed photo someone else took. It's available on wikimedia commons. I thought it was better than nothing! Someone went through the trouble of taking it so I thought we should take advantage of it! I won't reinstate it but you might reconsider it, up to. The photo will still be there... Stephen Tompkinson
[edit]I am in the process of massively pruning Stephen Tompkinson. Perhaps because you only edit a small number of articles, you seem to be unaware of how we do things on Wikipedia. If nothing else, please bear in mind that we are not a fan site - if you want to write a long spiel in praise of the man, with copyright violations, compounded quotations, mind-numbingly trivial detail etc then feel free to do so, but not here. Thanks. - Sitush (talk) 11:20, 5 October 2013 (UTC)
- I'm afraid I have to agree with Sitush (and his edits to the article), though his tone is probably a bit affected by the many edits he just made to try and whip that article into shape. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 13:33, 5 October 2013 (UTC)
- It is, sorry. - Sitush (talk) 13:44, 5 October 2013 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
