Much thanks...
[edit]Thank you so much for the barnstar you awarded me today; I'm not sure how much I deserved it, in truth, but I deeply appreciate that you thought I did. Objectivity is my #1 goal on Wikipedia, and it's always nice to see someone recognize one's efforts in that regard, however much we may (or may not) disagree in other areas. Your willingness to honor someone like me with whom you have occasionally disagreed in the past is proof of your own strength and nobility of character, and it is very deeply appreciated. Thanks again, and best wishes!! - Ecjmartin (talk) 01:11, 5 August 2011 (UTC)
The Civility Barnstar | |
I would like to award you this barnstar for the civility and respectful attituide you have shown towards you disagree with on Wikipedia. In the past, you and I have disagreed on some things, but you have never allowed your differences of opinion to get in the way of friendliness, respect and civility. This is proof of your own nobility of character, and since it is all too rare in this day and age, I feel it should be recognized, appreciated and congratulated. Well done, sir. Ecjmartin (talk) 21:07, 4 August 2011 (UTC) |
- Thank you, sir. Being not worthy for this in fact, I find difficulty how to answer to it. Anyway, thank you for the wise thoughts you have expressed there. B7elijah (talk) 23:34, 5 August 2011 (UTC)
Thanks so much
[edit]Thanks so much for the barnstar you awarded to me yesterday. I'm not sure I deserved it, but I'm grateful that you thought I did, and thought to award it to me. You and I are both living proof that people in this world can disagree vehemently about something, and yet still be friendly and respectful to each other--the true meaning of "tolerance," as opposed to the false definitions that some groups of people try to give to that term. Thank you again, and I wish only all the very best to you in the future!! - Ecjmartin (talk) 14:37, 26 September 2011 (UTC)
Barnstar of Integrity
[edit]I think this is the perfect Barnstar for you, my friend! - Ecjmartin (talk) 22:18, 27 September 2011 (UTC)
The Barnstar of Integrity | ||
This Barnstar of Integrity is awarded to you because during all our arguments on Wikipedia, you have consistantly stuck to your guns and never backed down from what you felt was right, even when I or others might have vehemently disagreed with you--and you have done all this while remaining courteous, respectful, and an all around "classy" person. Well done, Sir, and keep it up!! Ecjmartin (talk) 22:18, 27 September 2011 (UTC) |
I feel myself unworthy for that actually. So I consider your words reflect rather your Christian virtues than something notable in me. Anyway, thank you very much! B7elijah (talk) 18:20, 28 September 2011 (UTC)
Thanks again!
[edit]Thanks for the new barnstar--don't feel like I deserve it, but thank you very much for the compliment. All the best to you and yours! - Ecjmartin (talk) 23:06, 28 September 2011 (UTC)
Merry Christmas / Happy Nativity
