why has the "criticism" section been deleted it is directly linked to the topic, on what basis was it deleted? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.142.57.11 (talk) 15:02, 3 February 2010 (UTC)
- the info can't be corroborated by the reference you provided, be careful when adding material that relate to living people (Husseini); any controversial info that cannot be verified will be deleted Eli+ 16:02, 3 February 2010 (UTC)
if you can check out the "Hussein El-Husseini" article on wikipedia .. it's all referenced thank you :) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.142.57.11 (talk) 00:17, 8 February 2010 (UTC)

Hi - just wondered if you'd finished your major revamp of this page? pablohablo. 13:20, 5 January 2010 (UTC)
- I have removed the 'under constructon' tag. pablohablo. 20:09, 5 January 2010 (UTC)
I have not finished expanding _not major revamp, i found your sarcasm objectionable_ the article as i still have to fill it's many gaps; it also needs a lot of attentive copy editing. i tend to edit sluggishly at bed time so bear with me. Eli+ 20:58, 5 January 2010 (UTC)
- The tag at the top of the page read "This article or section is in the middle of an expansion or major revamping." No sarcasm was intended, if you saw it as sarcastic and objectionable there's little I can do about that. pablohablo. 21:28, 5 January 2010 (UTC)
No problem thanks. well she was one of the few requests made that i haeard of so i thought why not haha I honestly had no idea you were going to do the page until afterwards sorry lol but thanks again please feel free to add more info i did what i could based on scarce sources available, i didnt use arabic ones because usually use googletranslator(yeah i know not very accurate but lol but still gets the basics i need to know) since i cant read in arabic to verify whats written. Hello Mr. Elie plus

I did nothing wrong. I hope to understand everything, and please response my massage.

Help please!
The Picture I took, was uploaded on the Arabic Wikipedia. I basically translated the article from Arabic to English and I basically took it from there and uploaded it giving credit to the upload from there and remarks to him. I am not sure how to classify or explain the license on my own.
The original Image on the Arabic Wikipedia: http://ar.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B9%D8%B1%D8%A8%D9%8A_(%D9%85%D8%AC%D9%84%D8%A9) The Image on the English Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Al-Arabi.jpg
How can I fix the one I uploaded on the English Wikipedia so It wont be deleted? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Saab 1989 (talk • contribs) 19:18, 27 May 2010 (UTC)
You're invited!
Hello, Elie plus,
You are invited meet with your fellow Wikipedians by attending the Montréal meetup scheduled on Sunday, June 27, 2010; between 1500 - 1700 to be held at the Comité Social Centre Sud (CSCS), located at 1710 Beaudry, in Montréal. You can sign up at the meetup page.
The meetup is happening in concurrence with RoCoCo 2010, a free, bilingual, weekend unconference including many people involved with Wikis both within the Wikipedia/Wikimedia Community and abroad. You do not need to attend the conference to sign up for the Wikimeetup, but you are certainly welcome! Bastique ☎ call me!
(PS: Please share this with those you know who might not be on the delivery list, i.e. Users in Montreal/Quebec)

Thank you for making a report about User:Ronron101010 on Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. Reporting and removing vandalism is vital to the functioning of Wikipedia and all users are encouraged to revert, warn, and report vandalism. However, it appears that the editor you reported may not have had any time to react to your four warnings In fact they stopped editing before the first. Please also note there is a difference between vandalism and unhelpful or misguided edits made in good faith or even POV pushing. If the user continues to vandalise after a recent final warning, please re-report it. Thank you!--Tikiwont (talk) 20:18, 18 June 2010 (UTC)

You are welcome to add comments to its entry at the discussion if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. --Leyo 09:04, 5 July 2010 (UTC)
Re: What do you think?
Hi Elie, sorry for the delay in getting back to you - been very busy as of late. I think any way we can get more interested, active editors is fantastic. We just need to be sure that the goal remains improving the quality of Lebanon-related articles by Wikipedia's standards, not inject any pro-Lebanon bias. Cheers. ← George talk 09:23, 6 July 2010 (UTC)
Explanation
Diff? You might also save "sandbox" comments for people who haven't edited much, it sounds condescending. - BalthCat (talk) 14:55, 9 July 2010 (UTC)
- Ah, I found it. I was trying to only copy the Lara Scandar part. My mistake, sorry you had to undo it. I'm not sure how I made such a big error at this point. - BalthCat (talk) 15:00, 9 July 2010 (UTC)
Hi. The reason I removed this page from Category:Footpaths is that Category:Hiking trails in Asia is a subcat of Category:Hiking trails, which is subcat of Category:Footpaths - see WP:CAT. Put it another way, if every hiking trail in the world was put into Category:Footpaths, the category would become unusable. Mhockey (talk) 18:13, 14 July 2010 (UTC)

Do you have a habit of thereatining people?
To block them if they didn't agree with your M14 opinions? --Propaganda328 (talk) 14:07, 29 August 2010 (UTC)
- for calling a living person's parents a pimp and stripper and vandalizing articles, yes. Eli+ 14:11, 29 August 2010 (UTC)
Ok that was stupid of me, but I was talking about the Michel Aoun article. It's full of crap. And most sources are pro-M14. Is removing crap like "Aoun told the Lebanese people to apologize to Syria" vandalism? --Propaganda328 (talk) 14:17, 29 August 2010 (UTC)
- revise history bro, he did say that once, anyway, if you find something insulting do change it but dont insult the others, and remember to cite the sources without twisting them out of context. Eli+ 14:25, 29 August 2010 (UTC)
You got any sources that say he did say it? He said to apologize to other Lebanese. He NEVER said to anyone to apologize to Syria.--Propaganda328 (talk) 14:30, 29 August 2010 (UTC)
- here is your proof...
- naharnet
- the proof]Eli+ 14:46, 29 August 2010 (UTC) /
- and the reaction
The video you cite above shows the Gen. Aoun saying that first, ex-Syrian puppets need to apologize for covering for the past Syrian occupation, before the Syrians would. How is that proof that he asked that we apologize to Syria?!
Edit war
Hello. You appear to be involved in an edit war on Matt Freije . While the three-revert rule is hard and fast, please be aware that you can be blocked for edit warring without making 3 reverts to an article in 24 hours. You are not entitled to 3 reverts and are expected to cooperatively engage other editors on talk pages rather than reverting their edits. Note that posting your thoughts on the talk page alone is not a license to continue reverting. You must reach consensus. Continued edit warring may cause you to be blocked. Toddst1 (talk) 21:04, 30 August 2010 (UTC)
- I don't negotiate with vandals Eli+ 21:08, 30 August 2010 (UTC)
- Yet you did violate WP:3RR and could be blocked right now. If that edit recurred, would you revert it again? Toddst1 (talk) 21:29, 30 August 2010 (UTC)
- Well i tend to get carried away, yes i would have continued. I'm not dealing with a registered user *(like propaganda guy ^^^^^^)*, i think i talked some sense into that one, but how can you converse with an ip address? I know he is here in Beirut, if he would've been from anywhere else i'd let someone else handle him. Then again why do people with more privileges watch us go through this edit warring 3RR thing without interfering? Eli+ 21:36, 30 August 2010 (UTC)
- As far as admins go, we have 3 things we can do:
- Warn
- Protect
- Block
- Protecting is often the worst outcome because it's always the WP:WRONG version, so I tend to warn liberally and block when necessary. Hope that helps. Toddst1 (talk) 21:45, 30 August 2010 (UTC)
