Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Ad School Master
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:Ad School Master, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. [edit]Please read the following regarding writing an article
- you must provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to the organisation, press releases, YouTube, IMDB, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, blogs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what the organisation claims or interviewing its management. Note that references should be in-line, so we can tell what fact each is supporting, and should not be bare urls
- Your text had no references, and no evidence that it met the notability guidelines, since all you posted was fact-free spam
- you must write in a non-promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic, with verifiable facts, not opinions or reviews.
- Just pure spam, some examples include No high level advice, no fluff. Just 100% actionable strategies and tips that work in Digital Marketing... Always Updated: No need to worry about the outdated stuff. Our study material is always up-to-date... Digital Marketing Course 5.0 is all about getting you RESULTS. Works In Any Industry: People who are achieving success from our training come from various industries like ethnic-wear stores, e-commerce, etc. The rest is just the same blatant spam
- there shouldn't be any url links in the article, only in the "References" or "External links" sections.
- you must not copy text from elsewhere. Copyrighted text is not allowed in Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. That applies even to pages created by you or your organisation, unless they state clearly and explicitly that the text is public domain. We require that text posted here can be used, modified and distributed for any purpose, including commercial; text is considered to be copyright unless explicitly stated otherwise. There are ways to donate copyrighted text to Wikipedia, as described here; please note that simply asserting on the talk page that you are the owner of the copyright, or you have permission to use the text, isn't sufficient.
Your only edit here was a full-length advertisement, and you said Our study material is always up-to-date... People who are achieving success from our training. You have an obvious conflict of interest and should have declared it. If you work directly or indirectly for an organisation, or otherwise are acting on its behalf, you are very strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. If you are paid directly or indirectly by the organisation you are writing about, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You did not disclose your COI.
If you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization, you may request an unblock In your reasons, you must:
- Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement; and
- Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked; and
- Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
- Provide a new username.
To do this, post the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}
at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked.

Request reason:
I believe that I should be unblocked, because as a Manager of Edu projects, and an active writer in the Macedonian Wikipedia who has written and edited so many articles (in our Wikipedia, once a draft is published, it can be changed, supplemented, I didn't know that on the English Wikipedia they are immediately deleted). The article that was written was aimed at people who want to learn more about SEO by listening to a course that I wrote on the Ad School Master site. In the future I will keep an eye on all these things you pointed out and hope for a successful article about the course I mentioned so that all people can read about it and if they want to learn.
Decline reason:
Your now-deleted draft was pure, unmitigated spam, and is unwelcome on English Wikipedia. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆𝄐𝄇 02:19, 15 September 2023 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- Elena, referenced or not, what you wrote was blatant spam for a topic in which you have an undeclared conflict of interest, not even vaguely resembling an encyclopaedia article. I'll leave it to an uninvolved admin to consider your request, but it would be a travesty if you were allowed to continue spamming here, whatever you do on Macedonian Wikipedia, and you seem to have no other purpose on en-wiki Jimfbleak - talk to me? 18:08, 14 September 2023 (UTC)

Request reason:
I'm submitting this deblock again, because as I told you, I'm already an active writer on Wikipedia and it's not my first edit, nor did I want to advertise anything, nor do spam (although it seems that way, it's not like that). The situation is as follows: when something is written, and it is put in a draft, it means that it is not final, and it is gradually arranged, supplemented, deleted, modified - as was my case. I just started creating the site, all the things that were written were not final and I am currently still editing it. I will repeat once again about the article itself, it is an online SEO course, for all people who want to learn (it's free! and if someone wants to master the material more deeply, then there is that course and is taught by experienced professors so that anyone who wants to become a programmer listens and learns). I want to contribute to Wikipedia to have as many articles as possible, which are useful and which all people would have access to. As a manager for Edu projects in Wiki, I am a very willing and ambitious person, who wants to learn from my mistakes (everyone makes mistakes and learns from mistakes) and wants to learn new things and progress! Take all this into consideration.
Decline reason:
Even if I accept that you put spam in a draft and intended to make it not-spam, in looking at your draft I see no way it could be converted into an acceptable Wikipedia article. That is the wrong way to go about creating an article- because articles summarize what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about the topic, showing how it meets the special Wikipedia definition of notability. You should first gather appropriate sources and then summarize them, not first write the text and then gather the sources. Even leaving all that aside, you clearly have a conflict of interest and likely paid editing relationship here. You are going to need to disclose any relationship you have with Ad School Master and tell us what edits you will make now that you know that in the short term you will not be permitted to edit about ASM or anything for which you have a conflict of interest. If your only goal here is to edit about ASM, this is likely the end of the road. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 12:59, 15 September 2023 (UTC)

Request reason:
First of all, there is no paid connection. The course (which has its own website) belongs to my friend and I'm just doing him a favor so that everyone who wants to learn can do so. Second, the text is already written on a word document (with some errors that are changing), the text that is in the document is written from relevant sources, such as their website, quizzes that they do, interviews that my friend gave for various televisions, newspapers... There are sources! Third, I am the editor of the Macedonian Wikipedia, and I edit and write articles and articles there, but for this article I want to write now, their database is in England and it should be in English (and then it can be in other languages). . My goal is not to write only for them as you say, but you have to start somewhere, right? I am a persistent person and I want to get the opportunity to write and contribute to Wikipedia!
Decline reason:
Per conversations above and below. — Daniel Case (talk) 06:53, 17 September 2023 (UTC)

Someone else will review your request, but what is acceptable on the Macedonian Wikipedia is not necessarily acceptable here. Each version of Wikipedia is a separate project, with their own editors and policies. If your text is acceptable on the Macedonian Wikipedia, that's where it should be. Even if I believe that you are doing this as a favor for a friend, that is still a conflict of interest. 331dot (talk) 19:21, 15 September 2023 (UTC)

[edit]The text should not be on our Wikipedia, but on the English Wikipedia, where the database is, and then it will be translated into other languages. And what kind of conflict of interest are we talking about? Wikipedia is for publishing articles of all kinds, about courses, animals, cars, biographies, football players, etc. A clear example is an article that I wrote about my father, who is a soccer player and a top athlete, a representative. Is that ALSO a conflict of interest? Be realistic!
- Yes, that is entirely a conflict of interest. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆𝄐𝄇 21:26, 15 September 2023 (UTC)
- No, it isn't! Just as there can be biographies about other footballers, so there can be about my father, because he is also a footballer. It's a bit discriminatory of you. Just as there are articles about other companies that hold courses, so it is with this one that I want to write. And it doesn't matter who wrote the article, it's important to see how much that person contributed (I just took the article about football players as an example, as well as the article about the online course itself!) Elena Krsteva1 (talk) 22:13, 15 September 2023 (UTC)
- No, that is a conflict of interest, and yes it does matter who wrote the article. Please actually read the conflict of interest policy, it makes both of those things very clear. AntiDionysius (talk) 12:43, 16 September 2023 (UTC)
