Request reason:
I am Elen of the Roads. I'm at my father in law's house and don't have my password or access to my email. In a hasty post before I left the house this morning I made an error at Wikipedia talk:Request for comment/Nyttend and I need to correct it. Can you unblock this account, or at least unblock the IP please so I can make this change. Thanks.
Decline reason:
If this is an impersonation, it should remain blocked. If it is not, the real Elen of the Roads can unblock it once she gets home. Sandstein 16:57, 6 November 2010 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
You can tell it's me from the sucky markup - Elen
Sig test - I need this one to look different from the admin account

Woo hoo! I haz coloured sig That'll do.
I'm guessing this is going to sit here until I get back to my own pc and unblock it. Never mind - I'd probably have blocked me too if I'd seen the username go by. Serves me right really. See you guys about 8pm GMT. --Elen on the Roads:talk to me 16:18, 6 November 2010 (UTC)
- Re: “…get back to my own pc and unblock it.” I wouldn't do that if I were you. Verify this account from the other one and somebody will unblock it. —DoRD (talk) 16:46, 6 November 2010 (UTC)
- I don't see why not. Yes, technically admins mustn't unblock their own accounts, but in this case that rule makes no sense. At any rate, if Elen prefers, she can also make an unblock request with her admin account. Sandstein 16:57, 6 November 2010 (UTC)
- You may be right - I've probably just seen too many cries of so-and-so unblocked themselves! —DoRD (talk) 17:40, 6 November 2010 (UTC)

I have unblocked this account (a) to show that it is me and (b) to test unblocking as I've not done it before, and I'd rather muff it up on me than on some poor editor. Exiciral, your block was entirely correct, and Sandstein your decline also, as there's no way you guys could have been sure it was me. But as I assume you weren't intending to block me, and indeed you both said if it was me it was OK to unblock, I figure it's OK to unblock this account. I've also badged the userpage, to avoid any further confusion. Thanks everyoneElen of the Roads (talk) 20:09, 6 November 2010 (UTC)
