Information icon Hello, Wikipedia relies (almost totally) on what has been written about a subject in independent reliable sources. Personal knowledge is original research and is not admissable. In Snowdon's case, the information is taken from the club history written and compiled by official club historians and is regarded as reliable. If you wish, you can start a discussion at the article talk page, so that other editors can have input. However, there must be reliable sourcing that shows he is still alive. Please don't remove the information again until the situation can be resolved. Thank you. Eagleash (talk) 13:44, 5 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Snowdon

[edit]

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Brian Snowdon, you may be blocked from editing.

  • Despite the earlier message the encyclopedia has again been disrupted by removal of sourced content and addition of unsourced personal 'knowledge'. If you continue in this vein, it may lead to the loss of editing privileges. Again, Wikipedia relies and reports on what has been published in reliable sources. (See verifiability not truth). Start a discussion at the article talk page, as previously requested, if you wish to pursue the matter. Thank you. Eagleash (talk) 18:06, 5 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I have uploaded a picture to prove Brian Snowdon is alive

To where has the image been 'uploaded'? Photographs as proof of anything are not typically readily accepted. None of us here have much if any, idea of what Brian might look like, for example. (Please remember to sign your posts on talk pages by typing four keyboard tildes like this: ~~~~. Or, you can use the [ reply ] button, which automatically signs posts.) Thank you. Some digging by one of my colleagues has unearthed infromation that he was alive in 2017. On that basis and without anything else to the contrary the DoD has been removed and the page(s) updated accordingly. Eagleash (talk) 16:24, 6 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
