Request reason:

I hope that with this heartfelt plea I will be unblocked and allowed to edit Wikipedia as I have done it. I know I was told for 6 months, but it's been 5 months since October and I feel and think that it's enough? Please, don't block me for life. I learned from my mistakes. I will be very cautious and careful in editing, but probably I will not edit as much as I used to. I think I gave my best so far as I am 36 and I have been working for Wikipedia and Fandom: All Adult Life. I am distinguished editor and I think it'd be shameful if I remain blocked since I gave so much for Wikipedia so far. Please don't block me for Life. I will make constructive edits as I always have, but it hurts to be blocked for offenses instead of discussing with me. I hope that I will be able to redeem myself for my mistakes. I hope that Administrators would review my plea and unblock me. I am distinguished editor. I am librarian and pharmacist and I am educated man. I will never copy image from one page to another without citing resources. The same goes from moving Fandom to Wikipedia: Always, I have to cite the source. Please, don't shut down me for this. I didn't realize it was that serious. I will never make these mistakes again. Likewise, I will also use edit summaries with more respect and frequency, since it's necessary. Also, I would never vandalize Wikipedia in any way. With all due respect: Elan Morin Tedronai (talk) (Chavdar Likov)

Decline reason:

Stale unblock request. You can make a new one if you want. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 03:07, 14 June 2022 (UTC)

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Have you contributed positively to any other wikis that you could point us to (as suggested by ToBeFree above)? As we've already assumed good faith once, and unblocked you only to have to quickly reblock you for the very same behavior, it would be helpful if you were able to demonstrate the ability to adhere to our policies. Yes. Bulgarian Wikipedia. I'm Bulgarian and I have written some stuff for them. I also made here a translation on several historical fiction Bulgarian authors like Anton Donchev, Dimitar Mantov, Tsoncho Rodev and Stoyan Zagorchinov. Yes, apart from that: Bulgarian Wikipedia for sure. One can check me if you want, but my contributions are minor, alas. I hope to contribute more in the future. Regards: Elan Morin Tedronai (talk) (Chavo)
There have been no edits from this account on bgwiki during the enwiki block; bg:Special:Contributions/Elan_Morin_Tedronai shows 61 edits, some of which weren't exactly welcomed ([1]), but that was in 2020. I currently have no opinion on unblocking, other than noting that an appearance of having ignored common and hopefully useful advice isn't exactly a good argument for unblocking. I can't judge whether my advice of editing other Wikipedias was actually helpful, but if it was, helpful advice was apparently ignored. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 18:49, 22 March 2022 (UTC)
Yes, because I thought I was banned from editing all Wikipedias. Also, I consider my work on English Wikipedia: my main work. Considered and still consider it. My work on Dimitar Talev however were good, but I am for criticism, I guess: I should've spent some time on it as well. I have done other things as well beside Wikipedia and Fandom or moving material from Fandom to Wikipedia. No. It was never ignored, mate. I haven't done much on Bulgarian Wikipedia. I should have, but I didn't find time and sometimes I was deeply hurt that I was reblocked so quickly from English Wikipedia, that I thought that it was like permanent block from all Wikipedias. Really. Regards: Elan Morin Tedronai (talk)
Not having time and being (understandably) hurt is one thing, genuinely believing that the advice suggested you to do something forbidden is another. That, or misunderstanding my multiple explanation attempts. I was already surprised about this issue before ("that's not really what I said" above) and was left in deeper surprise when your response to the clarification was "no, man" and something about keyboarding. People were wondering how copyright can be so unclear that a reblock is necessary, now I'm wondering how my words could have been similarly unclear... I'm afraid writing any message here may be pointless as only the parts without actual information seem to be understood, which defeats the point of writing a message to convey information. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 06:46, 23 March 2022 (UTC)
OK, I might've discredited myself or I could be doing it even now, when I am writing. @ToBeFree:: Probably I don't deserve to be unblocked, by your words in English Wikipedia as you put it. It's just that I thought that after 6 months: I can get a second chance? I was re-blocked so quickly and nobody discussed anything with me instead. In the meantime while I was blocked, I haven't made edits in Bulgarian Wikipedia. I might've been more involved. I am for criticism. But, I was among 10000 Wikipedians and I think I have contributed enough to justify my unblocking in English Wikipedia. "Infinity" is too much. Can't I be unblocked here in English Wikipedia considering my achievements and my overall contribution to the Project? I messed up copying from Fandom to Wikipedia without stating resources, but I won't do that mistake again. I won't move pictures like that, because I understood that it's 1 photo per article and not more. That was subsequently after I was re-blocked. Probably, it could've been discussed with me instead of re-blocking. I am not a sock-puppetter! I am not a vandalizer! Please! I have been involved with the source for 20 years! I even did work on Fandom back in 2005, when I was 19 as a personal favor to Jimbo Wales! Why I have to be blocked "infinitely"?! I have achievements! I have contributions! After 6 months: can't I be permitted back in the source?! Oh, I can't by your words! You are neutral! I am speechless! It'd be complete humiliation to deny my unblock request after 6 months during which I was blocked out of the English Wikipedia, when I stated that it's my main project! But go ahead: Reverend Administrator's decision. I won't make another Cardinal request probably, because I'll be heartbroken if I am denied again after 6 months. I have achievements. I have education. I understand my mistakes, I won't repeat them; but, please don't block me for life. Regards: Chavo Elan Morin Tedronai (talk)
This is so weird. There's nothing about "deserving" to be unblocked, this is purely about demonstrating copyright and editing competence by working in a collaborative Wikimedia project – any of your choice –, practically with the only requirement of actually doing a measurable amount of work and not getting blocked for it there. The English Wikipedia has been the site for such an experiment already, and it failed; the (perhaps egoistical but practical) response is a skeptical request for trying to edit somewhere else before being unblocked here. It doesn't really matter what you did on the English Wikipedia before, as part of that will always be "having been blocked for copyright violations, having been unblocked, and having been blocked again". That's an achievement if you'd like to call it one; I'd rather focus on the current situation instead of looking at that not-so-bright past. If you had constructively edited on any other Wikimedia project during the block, your position for making this unblock request would be a much better one, and ours for unblocking would be a much easier one. And there's good news: You can still do this. You're blocked only on the English Wikipedia, so if you have a lot of free time to invest into Wikipedia, you can already do so, and we'd actually be happy to see this. And I personally will be more than happy to unblock then as well. This is not "for life" unless you're making it for life. I don't understand why you seem to do. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 19:07, 23 March 2022 (UTC)
I had to work in another Wikipedia in order to prove myself? Oh, I didn't read it in that case. I saw it as a "closed door" and didn't make edits in other Wikipedias. I also suffered several illnesses from covid-19 and wasn't so hard to prove myself in Bulgarian Wikipedia. And to be called "experimenter" is very offensive, @ToBeFree:. I was never trying to vandalize or experiment on Wikipedia. There is a "test"-page for this. I just didn't have time. I was sick throughout much of the year. English Wikipedia always was my main work. @SQL: asked if I have done some work? Yes. But minor. I have worked more here, but it's very offensive to be called "experimenter" and "vandal" when I never did in bad faith. OK. I am tired of this folkenticity. Whatever, Administrators say. I'll be heartbroken if I am at least not permitted to edit my User Page. Regards: Elan Morin Tedronai (talk) EDIT: I admit, I haven't other Wikipedias due to health reasons, I am for criticism. During my downtime, I have had other activities and hadn't invested much into Bulgarian Wikipedia as English Wikipedia is my main work. I merely waited around 6 months and I am asking politely if I can be readmitted again in the most humane way. I am not a vandal or sock-puppetter and I am not trying to experiment on Wikipedia in any way. I have done much work before, I understand my mistakes, I won't repeat them again. May I be allowed to edit English Wikipedia again? Elan Morin Tedronai (talk)
The word "vandal" appears a few times on this page, but only as misquotes, never as a word written by anyone else than yourself. The word "experiment" was inaccurate; what I meant is a "trial". Unblocking was tried/attempted, but it wasn't successful as it was followed by a reblock for the same reason as the original block. Issues don't necessarily magically disappear after six months of inactivity; if the blocking administrator had had an automatic unblock after 6 months in mind, they would have set the block to automatically expire after that duration. An indefinite block is "until the reason for the block is resolved", which is hard to prove without editing other Wikipedias during the block. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 21:50, 23 March 2022 (UTC)
Oh, I am sorry. I would try to contribute to Bulgarian Wikipedia and Kazakh Wikipedia since I speak the language, more in the future for sure. It's just that I was refraining myself from editing and was having downtime. I had to prove myself in other Wikipedias? OK. Sorry. I was lazy. Sorry. But as stated: English Wikipedia was my main work. I've had 17000 edits. I have stars. I am asking politely. I didn't think administrators have such issues with me. I wouldn't move material from one article to another without stating source as well as goes for Fandom to Wikipedia. I understand my mistakes. I hope that there's much more I can contribute in the future. I wouldn't copy photos from one article to another. I understood it. It's just that I was having a downtime and you said after 6 months to ask again. Well, I didn't invest much time, since I was sick from covid and have epilepsy, but I still think I was valuable contributor and can prove myself to be such in the future. I am asking politely again. It'd be sad if the "door is closed". I would invest more time in Bulgarian Wikipedia in the future. It's just that English Wikipedia is my main work. I sincerely hope to contribute more to all Wikipedia, in my spoken languages, including English Wikipedia, but please, readmit me, Reverend Administrators? 6 months passed. I really didn't work very much on Bulgarian Wikipedia (the issue on Dimitar Talev was closed and the article was embettered in reality, ToBeFree), but I always did it concurrently with my work on English Wikipedia. I hope you'll readmit me again. I won't copy material without stating sources. Regards: Elan Morin Tedronai (talk) EDIT: I created David Eddings bibliography and Raymond E. Feist bibliography. Really, in no way I am going to do harm on Wikipedia. Many bibliographies, since I am qualified librarian. I know I overstepped the rules, but in no way I will har wikipedia. Also, Peter F. Hamilton bibliography. I did much work on science fictional space warfare and historical fiction in the past. In no way I am going to vandalize or scam over on Wikipedia. I know I cannot copy without resources and I cannot put photos like that. Please, readmit me in Wikipedia again. Chavo Elan Morin Tedronai (talk)
I hope, I will reinstated sooner, because I've been waiting whole month. I am not nagging. I know it takes time, but I hope that my request will be viewed in shorter timer. Please, if you are refusing me, do it outright. Really, this waiting is very hurtful of my heart and soul. I think I can contribute further. Especially on Embrace and The World of the Wheel, as putting references and making up the paragraphs. I will never not state resources and will not move pictures or photos again. I hope that I will be reinstated and reincluded in English Wikipedia. Please, don't decline my request and I hope to not wait anymore and be among the Wikipedians again as I think I can contribute in many ways further in the years. Chavo Elan Morin Tedronai (talk)
