Welcome!

[edit]

Hi Elaine McKenna! I noticed your contributions and wanted to welcome you to the Wikipedia community. I hope you like it here and decide to stay.

As you get started, you may find this short tutorial helpful:

Learn more about editing

Alternatively, the contributing to Wikipedia page covers the same topics.

If you have any questions, we have a friendly space where experienced editors can help you here:

Get help at the Teahouse

If you are not sure where to help out, you can find a task here:

Please remember to sign your messages on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date.

I would recommend staying away from edits adding mentions of yourself into articles. While I didn't revert what you've done so far because it appeared factual, Wikipedia is quite specifically not to be used for promotional purposes and accounts that seem to be only interested in promotion can end up blocked. That said, I hope you find other ways to contribute to the project. Good luck and Happy editing! -- Fyrael (talk) 19:47, 13 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Blaze The Wolf: how is this message constructive, considering it falsely claims that this user has made edits at Elaine McKenna and they've already received duplicate guidance directly above? -- Fyrael (talk) 17:04, 9 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Fyrael: My apologies. I was meaning it towards their interest in the page (as stated on User talk:ARoseWolf) and was not meaning to claim they have made edits to said page. If you would like me to delete this I can. ― Blaze The WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 17:49, 9 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
