Culture
[edit]- well spotted on the absence of Joseph Hill in the Two Sevens Clash personnel... i copy'n'pasted it from Culture's official site, and they didn't include Joseph, Kenneth or Albert cuz i suppose they assumed you would take that for granted... must have had a total brain-drain and forgotten to put them back in for Wikipedia purposes. i've been trying to revamp Culture's whole discography as a sort of tribute to the great man. Cheers --W guice 12:00, 27 August 2006 (UTC)
Yes the article is unrecognisable from when I had looked at it a while before his death and before I began editing here myself. Very sad that Hill should die at a relatively young age, and certainly too young to be dying. This artist really inspired me and was an integral part of my initial introduction to black culture as a young man. Unfortunatelyy the police had this bright idea that if they shut the only club that played reggae in the town I grew up in that this would miraculously stop the local weed trade. Of course cannabis became more not less available (this was the eighties) but there was no more reggae music club with its somewhat racial integration and this particular town is now notoroius for its racial problems. Ho hum. El Rojo 20:02, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
Mexico in North America/Central America
[edit]Please comment on my proposal not to use the UN geoscheme that lists Mexico in Central America, which can be confusing in the article North America under the title "List of Countries and Territories Proposal". I beg you to comment. Thank you. AlexCovarrubias 06:37, 14 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit]Following your recent edits to Alberto Fujimori, would you be interested in joining the mediation on the Talk:Alberto Fujimori/Mediation page? If so, could you add your name to the list. Thanks, Addhoc 12:15, 19 September 2006 (UTC)
Spanish language
[edit]Please explain your revertion of reliably sourced material, with reference to Wikipedia policies. SamEV 20:16, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
I just did so on the talk page. Belize speaks English and Andorra Catalan so neither should be there. Just cos something is sourced isnt enought o include it. I agree that it makes it look as if these are Spanish speaking countries which I know for a fact that Belize isnt.--El Rojo 20:20, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
- Well, 52% of Belizeans disagree with you, b/c in the most recent census they themselves answered that they not only speak Spanish, but speak it "very well". http://www.cso.gov.bz/publications/MF2000.pdf SamEV 20:28, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
- Big deal! It doesnt mean they arent English speakers. Heard of bi-lingualism--El Rojo 20:30, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
- I'm only claiming the facts: Andorra and Belize are multilingual nations. It only seems to be news to you and some others. SamEV 20:38, 19 March 2007 (UTC)

Personal attack
[edit]Please refrain from personal attacks. You have violated Wikipedia policy Wikipedia:NPA here [1]. SamEV 20:43, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
Problem is that its true and you have been attacking people yourself if Squeak is to be believed. You shoulnt be engaging in a bitter edit war if you want to start quoting policy at people--El Rojo 20:46, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, Rojo, you said it, if he is to believed. Why not demand evidence? Seems like the smart thing to do. All I've done is post reliable sources that show that a majority of both countries also speak Spanish, beside other languages that they speak. Some here don't seem to like that fact. Brown people AfD
[edit]Hello, I saw that you voted on the deletion of the article Brown people / Brown race back in January 2007 here. As you probably know the result of the voting was a slight keep, so the article is still there. I found the article recently and considered it unacceptable, so I nominated it for deletion again. Could you please visit the article or deletion page and cast your vote? I would really appreciate it. Thank you. FonsScientiae (talk) 14:09, 8 July 2012 (UTC)
