Thank you for your recent addition of a results table to the Columbia–Cornell rivalry. Looking at your userpage, I share your love of things German; and as I try to research early southern football players most of all, and see your connection with Canisius College, I should mention Gene Oberst was quite the athlete (6 feet 5 inches in 1920 might as well be Shaquille O'Neal today). Team-level honors for NFL and CFB players
I saw that you pinged me about NFL team awards, EJ: [1]. Yes, there has been a wild proliferation of navboxes for minor team-level awards and honors since I started editing in mid-2009, most of which contribute to bottom-of-the-page cruft and clutter without any substantial benefit to our readers in terms of useful navigation. As your comments suggested, it's past time to selectively purge these marginal team-level award navboxes. While there may a handful of team-level awards that merit a navbox, most do not, and you should feel free to take the initiative in nominating them for discussion at TfD. If you want a second opinion about any given team-level award, I would suggest you ping Jweiss11, Cbl62, Yankees10 and myself. I think the four of us are a representative spectrum of opinion on whether to keep or purge. You will being the NFL and CFB projects a service by leading here.
