Tuesday In Class Work

[edit]

Is each fact referenced with an appropriate, reliable reference? - Yes everything that was a fact had a reference that was attached to it, and when you clicked on it, it went to the cite that it got the information from.

Is everything in the article relevant to the article topic? Is there anything that distracted you? -Nothing really stood out to me the only thing that was not about his Fashion career, was about his cancer research project that he is doing, but it was at the end so it didn't really stand out that much, I probably wouldn't wouldn't have noticed it if it wasn't for this project.

Is the article neutral? Are there any claims, or frames, that appear heavily biased toward a particular position? -I looked on the talk page and the only thing people were noticing was about his personal life, and a fact that was put on his page that wasn't backed up.

Where does the information come from? Are these neutral sources? If biased, is that biased noted? -The information is not biased, a couple of the websites were from critics which were a little biased but other than that no.

Are there viewpoints that are overrepresented, or underrepresented? -It says that he is a cousin to Michael, but they don't say what Michael, so that was very underrepresented. Since you are reading about a fashion designer you would think Michael Kors but you aren't sure because there are a lot of famous Michaels out there.

Check a few citations. Do the links work? Is there any close paraphrasing or plagiarism in the article? -All the cites that I tried worked and I had no problem with them. There was only one that came close to paraphrasing but none of the other ones I checked did.

Is any information out of date? Is anything missing that could be added? -None of the information seemed out of date but it could use some more information under his career heading.
