Thank you for creating Michael Vickers (artist).

Please find better citations. Suggestions on the talk page. To be honest, I don't think this emerging artist is notable by our standards, see WP:GNG and WP:NARTIST

Welcome!
[edit]Hello, Ejaclin, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I noticed that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.
To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.
One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)
In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.
Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}}
before the question. Again, welcome! ReaderofthePack(formerly Tokyogirl79) (。◕‿◕。) 04:35, 2 September 2020 (UTC)
- Hi! I realized that you may have a conflict of interest here and if so, this is all info you'd need to have. Disclosure is very important and I highly, highly recommend working with someone from the WP:TEAHOUSE on tone and sourcing. These modules were made for students, but can also help provide valuable info and resources when it comes to editing. ReaderofthePack(formerly Tokyogirl79) (。◕‿◕。) 04:37, 2 September 2020 (UTC)
- Also, feel free to ask for any assistance - this can all take a while to get used to, especially if you're used to writing in marketing prose on a regular enough basis. I'm not always on, so the Teahouse should be your first stop for immediate help. I figured that it would be good to give some examples of what I meant by promotional type writing.
- The terms "robust and humble" are typically seen as descriptive words that can be subjective to the reader. As such, this can be seen as an opinion and promotional, particularly since they're often used in favorable situations.
- Try to avoid relying too heavily on quotes. While the intent is to show that it's the opinion of the person(s) or organization making the statement, over-reliance can actually backfire and have the opposite effect. When it comes to awards it's best to sometimes just state that the design won an award and maybe one or two snippets of what the jury stated.
- Be careful of the term "select" when listing projects. This section should only have projects that have received quite a bit of independent, reliable sourcing. I don't personally have an issue with a section labeled with the word "select" but if there's promotional prose and not enough sourcing then this can pose a problem with some.
- I would recommend also checking in with the Architecture WikiProject and perhaps the ones on home living and fashion, since those last two overlap somewhat with the world of interior design. They can help give advice specific to these topic areas, particularly when it comes to sourcing. ReaderofthePack(formerly Tokyogirl79) (。◕‿◕。) 04:46, 2 September 2020 (UTC)
