Repost of Free Internet eXchange Oslo
[edit] A tag has been placed on Free Internet eXchange Oslo requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia, because it appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion process. If you can indicate how it is different from the previously posted material, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}
) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the article's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. If you believe the original discussion was unjustified, please contact the administrator who deleted the page or use deletion review instead of continuing to recreate the page. Thank you. What
[edit]"Seriously" what? --AnyGuy (talk) 15:33, 20 July 2011 (UTC) Check your facts before you request speedy deletion --Ehjelle (talk) 15:47, 20 July 2011 (UTC) I did, and it had been deleted before, so I assumed that it was not supposed to be there. --AnyGuy (talk) 22:24, 20 July 2011 (UTC)
Hi, thanks for message. Note that you can sign your comments automatically using four tildes ~~~~. I'm busy for the next 24 hours or so, but I'll look at the category you suggest and see if either some of its members should be deleted, or whether yours should be restored. Sorry I can't check sooner. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 10:38, 25 July 2011 (UTC)
- I had a look at the category. Too many to check them all, but I looked at six and deleted three of those. Articles need to provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. The ref in this article just confirmed the existence of the exchange, and repeated information provided by the site, so hardly independent. In the absence of proper refs, I'm left to decide whether there is internal evidence of notability. Fairhost and Blix lack Wikipedia articles, and 20 members doesn't seem much. I think at the very least you need a genuinely independent reference and an indication of notability Jimfbleak - talk to me? 06:27, 26 July 2011 (UTC)
