Single-purpose account editing and WP:POINT
[edit]I noticed that you have updated your user page to acknowledge and explain that this account is both a single-purpose account and a sockpuppet and to explain why you feel it is legitimate. This is helpful and welcome. Thank you for doing this. I also noticed that you have sent another batch of Wikimedians biographies over to WP:AFD.
Although your updated userpage reads as upset and defensive, you should understand why people are skeptical about your behavior. For one, you were not originally forthcoming about the fact that your account was a WP:SOCK and only explained this after I pointed this out in WP:AFD discussions nearly two three weeks after your first six AfD nominations. In fact, your first two edits created a minimal user page (Old revision of User:Ego Hunter) and a blank user talk page (Old revision of User talk:Ego Hunter) that removed red links from your signatures and hid the fact that you were are a newcomer and an WP:SPA. I understand your desire to keep your identity hidden but your actions haven't been completely above board.
Moreover, you have made it very clear that you are nominating biographies of Wikimedians for deletion because you believe that notability is not applied evenly and because you feel that Wikipedians are all conflicted in writing about other Wikipedians. So far, every single AfD that has closed has been with a decision to keep. Good or bad faith aside, and although I'm sure you feel that this these closures are just more evidence in favor of your original point, you have consistently been on the wrong side of consensus and your editing is disrupting Wikipedia to make your point. Much more problematically, additional searching on your nominated subjects has raised major details of accomplishments and sources clearly establishing notability (e.g., in the case of Raoul Weiler). There is very little evidence that you are following WP:BEFORE and even you have admitted that you've made mistakes as a result.
Full disclosure: I found this account originally because he nominated the biography about me for deletion in his third edit. —mako๛ 21:00, 17 November 2014 (UTC)
