Alex Turcotte moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Alex Turcotte, does not currently meet WP:NHOCKEY, the subject-specific notability guideline for hockey players. However, if the claims made in the article that Turcotte is a top prospect for the 2019 NHL Entry Draft, then he will likely be notable once the draft is actually concluded (assuming he is picked in the first round). Wikipedia is not a crystal ball, so we should not publish this article beforehand, even if it is likely that Turcotte will be notable in a few months time. Alternatively, if you can find multiple examples of significant coverage of Alex Turcotte in reliable sources (i.e. not just database entries or brief stubs), then he will meet notability through the general notability guideline and the article can be moved to mainspace. That having been said, I doubt that you'll be able to find such coverage before Turcotte is drafted. I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's notability guidelines and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. signed, Rosguill talk 22:58, 27 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
