Speedy deletion nomination of User:Eelmanrecords
[edit]A tag has been placed on your user page, User:Eelmanrecords, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be blatant advertising which only promotes or publicises a company, product, group or service. This is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages — user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources or advertising space. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. -★- PlyrStar93. →Message me. 🖉← 05:14, 18 August 2017 (UTC)

[edit]There have been two problems with this account: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group, which is also against policy, as an account must be for just one person. Because of those problems, the account has been blocked indefinitely from editing.
If you intend to make useful contributions about some topic other than your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}}
at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:CentralAuth to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In that reason, you must:
- Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
- Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
{{unblock|Your reason here}}
at the bottom of your talk page, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Request reason:
No. Don't unblock me. I'm just learning but I don't want to continue. I think it's better option to create an account under my own name and then start again. Wikipedia is much harder to understand than I thought. I would appreciate an opportunity to review the content to see where I went wrong. Here's hoping that even this message gets read? kind regards JohnEelmanrecords (talk) 06:09, 25 April 2019 (UTC) Eelmanrecords (talk) 06:09, 25 April 2019 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Creating a new account whilst this account is blocked constitutes block evasion, which is a form of abuse of multiple accounts. Doing so will result in the new account being blocked permanently, and will make it substantially less likely that unblock appeals from this account will be favourably viewed. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
Monday 21st August Can we attempt to start again please? The entity is a non profit, has no bank account and derives no money or income of any kind. It's mandate is purely to provide the history of Eelman Records and the period it existed in the early 80's. We would like to edit the content we started with and learn how to work within the guidelines of Wikipedia. Kind regards John Niland EelmanrecordsEelmanrecords (talk) 04:21, 21 August 2017 (UTC)

Request reason:
Totally still trying to understand the reason for the block. I can't progress in my understanding of using the site. where to next?
Decline reason:
I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that
- the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
- the block is no longer necessary because you
- understand what you have been blocked for,
- will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
- will make useful contributions instead.
Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Yamla (talk) 11:06, 24 April 2019 (UTC)
