[edit]Your addition to Makuhari International School has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other websites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of article content such as sentences or images. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. The text is taken verbatim from this magazine. Is there a reason why this has been done? Hello Edwin Edpalina. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Makuhari International School, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.
All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about following the reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.
If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:
- Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
- Be cautious about deletion discussions. Everyone is welcome to provide information about independent sources in deletion discussions, but avoid advocating for deletion of articles about your competitors.
- Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
- Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.
Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.
For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. As the music teacher for American International School, you have a close connection with the subject of this article. Please review our WP:COI policy to avoid issues in the future. Repost of Makuhari international school
[edit] A tag has been placed on Makuhari international school requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia, because it appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion process. If you can indicate how it is different from the previously posted material, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}
) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's discussion directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. If you believe the original discussion was unjustified, please contact the administrator who deleted the page or use deletion review instead of recreating the page. Thank you. --DAJF (talk) 13:04, 18 March 2012 (UTC)
Makuhari International School
[edit]I removed Makuhari International School from the Chiba Prefecture, city of Chiba, and Mihama-ku articles. It might be appropriate once an exhaustive list or article on all secondary educational institutions in Mihama or the city of Chiba is written.Prburley (talk) 13:12, 18 March 2012 (UTC)
Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Chiba Prefecture. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. ConcernedVancouverite (talk) 14:51, 18 March 2012 (UTC)
Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Mihama-ku, Chiba. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. ConcernedVancouverite (talk) 14:52, 18 March 2012 (UTC)
This is your last warning. The next time you insert a spam link, as you did at List of schools in Japan, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. , but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Daniel Case (talk) 04:37, 19 March 2012 (UTC)
To Daniel Case I'm new to WIKI and didn't realize I have those several notices up for me when I tried to insert weblinks related to the article I'm writing (Makuhari International School). One page said: "please expand the listing" so I never thought I was "spamming" when I added link to this page. Today, when I opened this TalkPage, I'm already blocked - I can't even go the appeal this block page. Please reconsider ublocking me. Thanks, Edwin Edpalina Edwin Edpalina (talk) 08:33, 19 March 2012 (UTC)
