Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia by creating the page GGMC. Your test worked, and has been or will soon be removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. A tag has been placed on GGMC, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable. If you can indicate why GGMC is really notable, you can contest the tagging. To do this, please affix the template {{hangon}}
to the page and leave a note on Talk:GGMC, explaining how GGMC is notable. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself.
Please read the criteria for speedy deletion (specifically, articles #7) and our general biography criteria. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

- Please do not remove speedy delete tags from articles you have created yourself. When adding the hangon tag, do not delete the speedy tag. Natalie 19:14, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
- Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from articles that you have created yourself. You may place {{hangon}} on the page and make your case on the article's talk page if you oppose an article's speedy deletion. Thanks.
- Having a myspace page and a freewebs page under construction do not make a band notable. There are millions of such pages. Fan-1967 19:24, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
- Stop removing speedy deletion tags. Natalie 19:29, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
Let's try to make this clear
[edit]GGMC is a South Floridian band from The United States that are still in the developing stages and still do not hold a Record Label.
In the first line of your article you basically say that you do not meet our standards for inclusion. Albums? National tours? Reviews in notable publications? No. You're just starting out and have achieved none of that. There have to be tens of thousands of bands in the US alone that are trying to become known. We only document the ones that have. Sorry. Response to your message
[edit]I didn't write the WP:MUSIC standards, but I do (as does most of Wikipedia) agree with them. Your band is not notable, so it doesn't get an article. When and if your band becomes notable, they will get an article. Removing tags and repeatedly recreating deleted content is not going to endear yourself with the wider community. Also, there's no h in my name, and please sign your talk page posts by typing 4 tildes (the ~ character) or hitting the "sign your name" link. Natalie 19:33, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
