Orphaned fair use image (Image:DFTEMPLATE.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:DFTEMPLATE.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful.

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Durin 22:44, 8 October 2006 (UTC)

  • Both images are tagged with a fair use tag. The use of fair use tagged images outside of the main article namespace is not permitted per Wikipedia:Fair use criteria item #9. I have reverted your removal of the orphaned tag from the image. Please do not remove the tag again without this image being used in the main article namespace. Also, you do not need to upload smaller versions of images in order to have such smaller images. You can take the existing larger image and have the mediawiki software resize per your use. For example, using the code [[Image:DestinyFulfilled.jpg|64px]] uses the original, large image and downscales it to 64px in size, which is what your version does. Since your version is a wholly redundant, smaller copy of image:DestinyFulfilled.jpg, I have deleted your version per WP:CSD image, #1. If you have any questions about this, I'd be happy to answer. --Durin 03:36, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
  • Fair use is a term used in copyright law. If an image has a copyright, it is possible to use the image in some narrowly defined cases. You don't need to worry about those cases in terms of consideration for your template. Wikipedia policy, irrespective of copyright law, states that we must not use copyrighted images outside of actual Wikipedia encyclopedia articles. This means we can't use copyrighted images in templates. Thus, album covers can not be used as they are copyrighted in almost all cases.
  • If I might suggest, rather than focus on trying to create a userbox to express your admiration for your favorite performer(s), why not enhance the encyclopedia instead? We're here to build an encyclopedia. If you want to create a home page for yourself, try myspace.com or facebook.com or any other similar venue. Wikipedia is very, very poorly suited to that purpose. --Durin 00:37, 10 October 2006 (UTC)

Your discussions on my Talk/Vandalism Dispute Pages

Excuse me, what the heck are you talking about? When have I vandalised any Wikipedia articles?

--Scorpiona 02:03, 9 October 2006 (UTC)

Re: ¬¬³

What's with that title? Anyway as Durin have already pointed out multiple times above that is an unfree image, promotional material is not free content (read it), wich is why the promo tag explicitly says fair use. Unless it explicitly says somewhere that the image can be used for any purpose, commercial or otherwise it's not free use. Promo material is generaly intended for promotional or personal use only, wich is not the same thing. Please read up on Wikipedia:Copyrights, Wikipedia:Fair use and maybe the Wikipedia:Image copyright issues for dummies (no offense intended by the title) essay. I realise copyright is not always the easiest subject matter, but attacking everyone who try to educate you and enforce our rules on this is not going to help, and that image can not be used in that userbox, trust me on this, there is a reason there are no "official" photos in all the other userboxes out there (well most of them anway, some continue to fly under our radar). --Sherool (talk) 12:28, 11 October 2006 (UTC)

Two reasons:

  1. The image does not need its own article page.
  2. Just because information can be freely accessed on the web does not mean it is free content. Please read Wikipedia:Copyrights.

In addition, the RIAA is not a public agency, but an industry organization made up record labels and distributors. If you need information from their site to reinforce claims made that others keep changing, then you should link to the information on the RIAA site. If the information is freely accessible but not easily linked to, then you might want to consider using the article in question's talk page and provide instructions on how to verify it. -- Hawaiian717 00:28, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

I'm not sure how things work where you are, but the RIAA in the United States is most certainly not a government agency. Sure, they'd love people to think that, and through their influence in Congress can get whatever laws they want passed, but they're are not. American TV and radio stations are also private enterprises, even PBS and NPR, which do receive some financial support from the federal government, are independently run. Any content they post on their web sites are also copyright restricted, not free content. As is the RIAA's site, right at the bottom of their main web page is says Copyright ©2003 Recording Industry Association of America. All Rights Reserved.
As far as how I spend my time on Wikipedia, I'll do with is as I please. If you check my edit history you'll see I've made plenty of contributory edits, including starting a few brand new articles. Sometimes, I choose to engage in a little new pages or recent changes patrol. Also, I'm not the one deleting the content. I'm not an administrator (nor do I particularly desire to become one), thus I don't have the capability to do so. All I can do is tag it so that an administrator can take a look at it and make a final decision. -- Hawaiian717 01:47, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
A "public agency" is, by definition, governmental: [1] -- Hawaiian717 02:40, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

Image tagging for Image:008.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:008.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 06:30, 31 October 2006 (UTC)

Please have a look at http://www.beyonceworld.net/gallery/disclaimer.htm. This image may in fact be copyrighted. We do not know. As such, I've removed the improper {{gfdl}} tag you put on the image. Please clarify and cite evidence of the copyright status of this image. If this information can not be found, the image will be deleted in seven days. If you have any questions about this, I'd be happy to help. --Durin 21:15, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

Image:LeToya Promotiona Pic.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:LeToya Promotiona Pic.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that fair use images which could be replaced by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted 48 hours after this notification, per our Fair Use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Abu badali (talk) 19:00, 27 February 2007 (UTC)

RE: Why don't you

help me to insert the correct tag about the copyright content in instead of judging the criterias and analazyz about it?

Image:LeToya_Promotiona_Pic.jpg

Eduemoni 14:46, 15 April 2007 (UTC)

I'm afraid there isn't a "correct tag" for this image. For illustrating biography articles on living people as LeToya Luckett we use freely licensed images or no images at all. Promotional images are not freely licensed. Images from artist's official website are (usually) not freely licensed as well. --Abu badali (talk) 16:33, 15 April 2007 (UTC)

re:LeToya

Nothing was removed from the article except repeat information that was stated twice or more. It is filled with misspellings, awkward grammar, incorrect wikilinks, incorrect formatting (such as headers and subheaders) and other statements needing citations. I've added wikilinks and removed excessive categories and properly formatted album and song titles. What you're doing is clearly disrupting the article, including the hidden text you've left in my User Talk Page - it is very poorly written and filled with speculation. I have already MANUALLY gone through and fixed it. It is you who keeps reverting everything I did. If you feel this is vandalism, go ahead and contact an admin. - eo 20:41, 19 April 2007 (UTC)

First, you put a 3rd warning vandalism tag on my page, which is not the proper way to report vandalism. As I told you before, I have already manually gone through the article and cleaned things up and you have reverted it. I only went to the article in the first place because another editor asked me to step in due to your unwillingness to accept anyone's changes to your edits. - eo 20:54, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
If your article prose is as jumbled as the messages you're leaving on my Talk Page (it is, actually), then I don't know how you can think your additions make any sense. You obviously haven't looked at the diff from the first edit I did and all you want to do is revert any changes made to your edits, as I can see from the article's history. Your attempt to report me for vandalism wasn't valid either. People who do not agree with your edits are not "vandals". - eo 21:13, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
I removed no sources from the article. Why in the world would I remove a source? What i did was format references using the ref tag. I also added a "citation needed" tag to a statement that needed one. I have no idea what you're talking about. - eo 21:17, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
You make me wanna laugh, take a look at the article right now, and another thing, in my revision version the reference list had 12 guidelines on your version, has 4, ok? Now I gotta an Edit War and I can't edit no more, so lets be polite, talk and review the whole article, to see what is useful or not, right??

Eduemoni 21:20, 19 April 2007 (UTC)

LeToya article

As I explained in my edit summaries, I will tell you what I manually did to the article. You'll see that most of what I did was not about content but more about formatting:

  • I added wikilinks where necessary and removed repeated wikilinks as they are not necessary.
  • I corrected misspelled words and incorrect grammar, punctuation marks and capitalization.
  • I corrected informal tone, such as referring to the members of Destiny's Child and Anjel by their first names.
  • I quoted song titles as per proper formatting.
  • I italicized album and television show titles, as per proper formatting.
  • I removed POV such as "Shocking the fans..." and other speculative/unencyclopedic remarks.
  • I added one [citation needed] tag.
  • I removed "trivia" items that were already stated within the article. There is no need to list them again.
  • I removed unsourced non-free images.
  • I corrected date formats (i.e. "May 8th" is wrong, "May 8" is correct).
  • I utilized the ref tag for external sources that were already in the article.

In one single edit, you reverted everything I did and reported me multiple times for "vandalising" the page. I don't think I've done anything to harm your article. You do not own this article and it is not a fanpage. - eo 21:44, 19 April 2007 (UTC)

Regarding reversions[2] made on April 19 2007 to LeToya Luckett

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content which gains a consensus among editors. Thank you. - auburnpilot talk 21:18, 19 April 2007 (UTC)

LeToya

The broken links I was referring to are the international wikilinks (on left side of page) leading to various versions of wikipedia. Your version of the page has many countries listed... yet clicking them brings up nothing. I didn't know where any of that came from. - eo 20:16, 20 April 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for your note. I'll take a detailed look a little later today or this weekend. Like I said before, my corrections before really were not about sources or content, but more about formatting - wikilings, spelling, punctuation, grammar... stuff like that. - eo 20:31, 20 April 2007 (UTC)
Done. Very minor changes made. Good article - thorough without being too detailed or fan-page-y. - eo 21:42, 20 April 2007 (UTC)

Your problems with Ericorbit

I am just wondering about the problems you had with Ericorbit. I added information to The Pet Shop Boys page that was accurate. He has decided twice to go back and remove the information and I have had to write back to him about it and then basically warn him that continue reverting the page back would force me to report him to a moderator. I was just wondering what exactly what he did to you. I am contacting you based on what I see on his discussion page. He seems quite arrogant and full of himself. Let me know. Take a look at what he wrote to me on my page. It's as if he thinks he owns wikipedia. ThanksMoovieStarz 23:37, 22 April 2007 (UTC)

There is no need for you to bother Eduemoni with this. Like I stated on your talk page, MoovieStarz, conversations I have had with other editors have nothing to do with you. Eduemoni and I had a disagreement about article content and we discussed things and compromised to come to a resolution. There is no issue between Eduemoni and I. - eo 12:48, 24 April 2007 (UTC)

Your message

You didn't give a link to the article in question or to the diff; could you be more specific concerning the point you were making? Thanks --Mel Etitis (Talk) 22:45, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

It's courtesy to give a link; there are many articles related to and including the words "Pussycat Dolls". I'm still puzzled as to why you sent me the message. The introduction of an image size was smuggled in with a host of changes that reverted the article to incorrect formatting and made unsourced changes, all without even an edit summary. You did the same thing. --Mel Etitis (Talk) 07:42, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
You made two edits, introducing many changes, included an edit summary with only one, and mentioned only one of the changes. You've just done the same, only giving an edit summary for one of three edits, mentioning (vaguely) part of what you did. With regard to that, the infobox might lok crowded to you, but it's formatted according to the MoS and WikiProject; you should not introduce deprecated abbreviations and non-standard formatting to fit your personal aesthetics. --Mel Etitis (Talk) 22:29, 8 May 2007 (UTC)

Cut and paste move from JoJo to JoJo (singer)

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that recently you carried out a copy and paste page move from JoJo to JoJo (singer). Please do not move articles by copying and pasting them because it splits the article's history, which is needed for attribution and is helpful in many other ways. If there is an article that you cannot move yourself using the move link at the top of the page, follow the instructions at Wikipedia:Requested moves. Also, if there are any other articles that you copied and pasted, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you. Thanks for the invite but I'm not sure I can be of much use. I like Destiny's Child/Beyoncé and a few songs by Brownstone, SWV, Mary J Blige and Janet Jackson but beyond that I am pretty much ignorant of modern R'n'B which I presume is what you want. Of course there was the first R'n'B back in the 50s which was the precursor to Rock and Roll but I am ignorant of that as well.

WikiProject

Hello Eduemoni; sorry about not getting back to you sooner. I have a question: why did you contact me about joining the WikiProject? Don't worry, I'm not upset that you asked, I'm just curious to know why. I don't really have much interest in joining a WikiProject, in all fairness. However, I do congratulate you for making a bold attempt in reviving a dying WikiProject. Acalamari 16:18, 3 July 2007 (UTC)

There is no need to apologize. By the fact you decided to ask me about joining obviously means you have seen my work. :) Thanks for asking about this.
As for joining, I'm not saying no. Maybe I'll join at a later date instead. Acalamari 20:17, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
What sort of tips do you want regarding the members? Acalamari 20:23, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
I don't know much about WikiProjects, but I'll give you this advice. You've invited a group of people to join the WikiProject. I suggest you stop sending out invites (for the moment), and give all those people a week or so to get back to you; then invite some more people who have edited pages within the scope of the WikiProject. Concentrate on building the influence of the WikiProject (which you seem to be doing already by adding articles to its scope). Hopefully, the WikiProject will be more successful, gain recognition, and more people will join it. As I said, I don't know much about WikiProjects, but if you just work hard to revive the project, there is no reason for it to start dying again. You've managed to get a couple of people to join it already (I think; I may be wrong), which is a good thing. Acalamari 20:33, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
You're welcome! :) Seriously though, I hope your attempt to revive the WikiProject is a success. The articles you've listed there need to be improved; and I myself have tried to fix them. Your WikiProject should be able to do a better job than me. Good luck! Acalamari 20:43, 3 July 2007 (UTC)

Vaious R&B/Soul stub types

Hi - I see you have recently created one or more new stub types. As it states at Wikipedia:Stub, at the top of most stub categories, and in many other places on Wikipedia, it is recommended that new stub types are proposed prior to creation at Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting/Proposals, in order to check whether the new stub type is already covered by existing stub types, whether it is named according to stub naming guidelines, whether it is otherwise correctly formatted, whether it reaches the standard threshold for creation of a new stub type, and whether it crosses existing stub type hierarchies. Your new stub type is currently listed at WP:WSS/D - please feel free to make any comments there as to any rationale for this stub type. And please, in future, consider proposing new stub types first! Grutness...wha? 02:52, 7 July 2007 (UTC)

But I was heading back to fix the hierarchy towards the stub-templates and then adding to proposals, because some of them were adding articles into other categories, but those categories aren't redudant as you specify, they have solely distinct functions, like the hip-hop stubs templates, and you mentioned about convetion, but it seems that there is currently a lot of categories under the specification of group instead of band. Take a look at Musical groups

Yeah, you're right about groups, I got it the wrong way round - band is used in template names, group in category names. As to fixing the hierarchy, though, I take it you didn't read the note at the top of the parent page which that is transcribed to: This is a dynamic list of stub messages/templates that are applied to stubs. This list is maintained by the Stub sorting WikiProject, with the purpose of keeping a list of templates and categories approved by WP:WSS. Please do not add any other material here, it will be removed. The page then goes on to explain why, as well as describing the proposal process. In any case, why would you add proposals last? A proposal is, by definition, something which is done first - in the case of stub proposals, they should be completed before and stub templates or categories are made, so as to avoid any problems of incorrect namings, scopes, etc. Grutness...wha? 05:30, 7 July 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:18619094398.png

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:18619094398.png. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Requesting your help for article improvement

Hello...

I found your name on the member's list for the Wikipedia:WikiProject R&B and Soul Music. Because of your interest in R&B and soul music, I'm writing to ask for your help with improving the James Brown article, which was nominated as a candidate for the Article Collaboration and Improvement Drive. The goal for this drive is to improve the article to featured status in time for the first anniversary of James Brown's death on December 25, 2007.

If you're interested and want to have your vote count in this effort, please visit Article Creation and Improvement Drive page for the James Brown article by August 27. A link to this page has also been provided on the James Brown talk page. At this time, although four votes have been recorded for improving the article, at least four votes are needed to promote the project. (The original request was for four votes, which has since been increased to a minimum of 8 votes.) You can get an idea of the improvements needed for the article by visiting the James Brown talk page to view the To-do list for the article that's located just below the Article Creation and Improvement Drive panel near the beginning of the page.

Many thanks for your help. Lwalt ♦ talk 11:02, 16 August 2007 (UTC)

Bad advice concerning Image:jodeci.png

Hi. Do you mind if I ask you why you are advising user:Dont mess wit me(Tay) about Image:jodeci.png? I ask because the information that you have asked him to post on the description page [3] is a mashup of the stories of three different people. Dont mess wit me said that they took the image in July (presumably July 2007), and was licensing it under CC-by-sa. The date August 13, 2005 comes from the metadata in a copy of the image that I found on photobucket. The info that this came from a photoshoot and that the band has authorized its use comes from a third source, 201.8.41.223, who also give a date from 2000 and said that commercial use is prohibited. The combined story is also incorrect to equate the band's vague persmission for resuse with the CC-by-sa license.

If you do have any information about this photo, please share it at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree images/2007 August 21#Image:Jodeci.png. In the meantime, please do not give out any more copyright advice. ×Meegs 20:48, 31 August 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for the invitation!

I got your invitation to join others at the Wikipedia R&B portal. But, I think I signed up a little while back when I came across during my wandering around the site. Although I'm willing to help out at times, I won't be able to devote as much time at first because I'm going to be starting my MBA for the Fall 2007 semester, which starts week. So, I'll try my best to get involved as much as time permits.

Again, thanks for the invite. Lwalt ♦ talk 23:44, 31 August 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:JumpinJumpinCover.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:JumpinJumpinCover.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Standupforlove.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Standupforlove.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 20:22, 24 October 2007 (UTC)

Hi. I found you in categories of users who can contribute in English and Portuguese. I myself am a native speaker of English, but I'm well on my way to learning Portuguese. Just check out my user page and talk page, and join in any of the discussions. To keep updated, you can even put a watch on my user page, which will automatically watch my talk page. :-) learnportuguese (talk) 21:36, 7 February 2008 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Withme.png)

Thanks for uploading Image:Withme.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Unexpected (Michelle Williams album)

Hi Eduemoni. I see you recently moved the Michelle Williams's third studio album article to Unexpected (Michelle Williams album) via a copy-and-paste redirect. Please don't do this - the correct way is to use the move function, which will automatically create a redirect and - most inportantly - keep the article's edit history in tact. As of now, the edit history for this is broken up between the two articles. If you have any other questions on it, just let me know! - eo (talk) 17:18, 22 March 2008 (UTC)

re:Hello eo, can you do me a favor???

Hi there. I looked at the article and did some very minor fixes, but overall is seems to be ok. I did not see your name in the article's edit history at all, have you been contributing to it? For now I put it on my watchlist to see what happens with it, hopefully it will not get too out of control with cruft. - eo (talk) 21:15, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

UGH< five minutes later and I already had to revert vandalism on it. This isn't such a good sign  :-P - eo (talk) 21:21, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

Replaceable fair use Image:Destiny1999.jpg

Replaceable fair use
Replaceable fair use

Thanks for uploading Image:Destiny1999.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Stifle (talk) 12:21, 17 December 2008 (UTC)

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Category:Unassessed-Class R&B and Soul Music articles, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Category:Unassessed-Class R&B and Soul Music articles has been empty for at least four days, and its only content has been links to parent categories. (CSD C1).

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Category:Unassessed-Class R&B and Soul Music articles, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself.
